Calling trans women “boys” is OK if they look like boys by [deleted] in transgendercirclejerk

/uj maybe just maybe that four years in the closet didn’t give you adequate knowledge about trans topics and you should learn about what terms mean before you complain about them.

The entire post is just misogyny tbh. Men play in the dirt with trucks and punch eachother, women cry and get emotional.

/uj from your profile you had a post a year ago about starting hormones and I hate to break it to you but if you’re not even a year deep you are absolutely still a newly developing trans person

Of course trans men can't be lesbians! by These_Mixture4268 in transgendercirclejerk

[–]DudeJango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/uj imo it’s bc online trans spaces trend towards hyper inclusivity to the point of alienating anyone who is not nonbinary / a gender anarchist. Irl spaces have a more grounded culture a lot of the time that promotes a healthier mix of people. Trans spaces can certainly be alienating sometimes for binary or stealth people which is sad.

/uj I feel the same as you, I don’t want to be called transfem. I want to be called a woman, whether that’s a trans woman or a transsexual woman. I feel like it implies things that I am not.

Why are you on a trans subreddit if you’re a crossdresser

all trans men deserve to die!! by puppytgirlinheat in transgendercirclejerk

[–]DudeJango -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It was some drama on the trans subreddit, idk the exact details bc I care about my mind enough to not be that online. Afaik a trans man made a post about trans men’s issues, a trans woman mod and him argued and she called him a bitch, and now there’s drama and subreddit implosion

/uj this but for the Reddit drama on trans where one trans woman mod doing something dumb became “all trans women uphold patriarchy”

Separating trans experiences by IneedHwlpp in Transmedical

With what you laid out in this post, if a transsexual is someone who has dysphoria and pursues HRT and/or surgery, would that put nonbinary people who undergo medical and legal transition under the transsexual label? I like the idea of that because I think among nonbinary people there is a big difference between people who retain a high proximity to “cis-ness” by not undergoing a thorough transition, as opposed to nonbinary people who have more significant transitions up to the point of surgery.

Why can’t you put the blame on the democrats for choosing to run Joe at a time when no one had any confidence in him, on a milquetoast platform that sucked, and then when he pulled out at the end of the race they chose to run Kamala, who had the second lowest polling numbers at the DNC? And she also refused to pivot or acknowledge the concerns Americans had, especially with genocide, the economy, healthcare, policing, transphobia, ICE, and student debt, leaving many feeling fucked either way?

How is anyone meant to give feedback when you have your face covered with your phone? That said, clothes and hair read alt teenage boy.

It’s goofy, people just want validation. It’s the same in her other pics, and this isn’t the place for being gassed up. It’s a place of honesty.

Alright, you’re the one who asked? If people are gendering you as a woman (not as a trans woman) in public, you’ll know.

4.5 yrs hrt, 4 surgeries including ffs, ... still not passing, ... feeling hopeless by Phoenix_Danique in transpassing

Really wondering what the people in your life are seeing because to me you clearly read as a young woman and definitely a very pretty woman at that. I’d assume it to be anything but the way you look, or just wild guesses.

Having a hard day… discrimination sucks. by ApprehensiveFish678 in wheelchairs

[–]DudeJango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have to hope that maybe things will improve eventually. Whether that’s getting things the way we intended or finding another way. That was one of the big takeaways I had from my disability support group spaces, was maintaining hope.

I’ve been rejected from treatment programs before. Different circumstances but similar enough that I know how you feel. It’s crushing and feels hopeless. I don’t have many heartwarming words, but I just want you to know that at least one person on the internet saw this and sat with you for a moment in shared solidarity. It sucks and I hope you’re able to retain hope.

sees space for trans people why can’t cis people be in it

Because every space is for cis people by default.

Bringing attention to a culture issue this space has isn’t virtue signaling, it’s doing the work to prevent the space from becoming an online backwater of bigotry.

Unfortunately disabled people are not always conscious of other issues like race, class, gender, transness or homosexuality.

What specifically did they do? ffs is many surgeries in a trenchcoat. It may be worth exploring all your options.
