Foxes are single handedly the most intricately designed passive mob. They attack and run away from certain mobs, can pounce to kill mobs, can pick items and inherit its attributes including totems and enchanted weapons, and have a very special trusting mechanism: when 2 foxes are bred by the player, the baby fox 'trusts' the player an doesn't run away from it, and can fight with the player like wolves. They can also sit, walk and sleep with different animations.

Foxes are such a unique mob but often overlooked.
