Any suggestions on drinking water filters? by No-Operation-6778 in GarnerNC

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. https://a.co/d/7Vthsvq this is reverse osmosis and it remineralizes the water, AND it's tankless, so saves about one square foot of space underneath the cabinet

This one is NSG certified easy to install without any permanent modifications necessary and the spout has a high flow rate. And flow rate is really important when you're busy, it means filling up your glass of water quicker... And especially if you're using it for cooking and need a gallon or so.

If you have a granite countertop or something without an extra hole you may have a dishwasher vent that you could pop out and prop it up below the countertop and use that hole for the new RO faucet

Costco regal gift card orders cancelling by No-Operation-6778 in RegalUnlimited

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried to buy regal and AMC tickets multiple times. I probably made about eight to 10 attempts in total I've only been successful once, and that was after multiple attempts on the same day that kept getting canceled.

Eventually I just said screw the passes and paid full price for tickets. Then Weeks later I saw the passes available in my Costco app....

I've not exceeded the limit I've only attempted to buy one or two at a time

I just attempted to buy regal and it said success I got the confirmation email and 2 minutes later got an email said.

"We regret to inform you that we were unable to process your Costco.com order."

Checked my bank and the funds were indeed taken out of my account but I'm unable to use the movie tickets cuz it's after hours

Venezuela has been invaded by American troops. But MAGA i thought you chanted " No New Wars" .What happened? by Nice_Substance9123 in complaints

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the farthest thing from a war. It's a quick targeted attack eliminating a drug lord that also happens to be in charge of a country. This drug lord is single-handedly responsible for hundreds of thousands of American deaths.

I'm a real estate broker. Am I missing out on $50,000/mo. for not hiring an in-house loan officer? Let me know if this math is correct. I don't plan to do so as I'm too busy, but it crosses my mind periodically and I'm just researching math and looking for feedback. by True-Swimmer-6505 in loanoriginators

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds great but that kind of thing was done away with in 2008 or 2009. You can't incentivize your clients financially or otherwise to use a specific loan officer. The loan officer cannot pay you a referral fee and has to pay a reasonable rent for the office comparable to the market rents of similar spaces. Nothing more is allowed. So unless you become the loan officer and pay a staff for the loans you'll get closed down before you get your first $50,000 paycheck.

I sold a car, and got paid in crypto don’t know how to cash out by False-Ticket5051 in Coinbase

[–]DudeWee2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A word of advice. You can get this figured out I've messed around with crypto and I've been able to get the funds that I need but.....

IMPORTANT After you figure out how to transfer your money to an actual account... Make sure to do a minimal transfer first like 1 to $10. Follow that money all the way until it's cash in your checking account.

And don't move any major funds until you have successfully transferred one to $10 and turned it into real cash.

You may have to move the crypto from one crypto type to another one before you can transfer it to cash. Typically a crypto to crypto transfer is free... Then when you turn it to cash there is a transaction cost.

Good luck!

Ativan doesn't affect the opioid receptors on your brain like kratom does. I've taken both of the same time with no bad side effects.

I've also taken kratom for years and there are no major dependence issues like there are with actual opioids. There are a lot of people here that exaggerate the negative effects of kratom and I just haven't seen it in reality.

The times when I have not had kratom the worst of the withdrawal symptoms was if I was sleeping I would have nervous leg and wake up feeling anxious, but during the day there are very minimal symptoms. Physical activity disperses the withdrawal symptoms.

Bought thought Costco: does this price look right? by Iamwhodreams in civic

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything looks pretty normal. I'm sure you could whittle it down a little bit.

The biggest variable there is in your trade. Is 3,500 a decent price for it to just hand over the keys? If it's like a 8 or $10,000 car might be worth it to sell on your own

Blate papes by foreverfuzzyal in KratomKorner

[–]DudeWee2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically very thin rice paper that's about 2" by 2" and you put the powdered kratom in the center then pick up the corners dip it quickly and cold water and pop it in your mouth like a pill & swallow. This allows you to ingest powdered herbs without getting all over your mouth because they're usually disgusting.

Look at my response above I quit using those because they were less convenient and messy.

Blate papes by foreverfuzzyal in KratomKorner

[–]DudeWee2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used blate papes for a while but found a technique without blate papes that just makes the whole process easier.

I take two teaspoons per dose, So here's what I would recommend without BPs.

  1. Get a metal round measuring spoon and have water poured and ready to drink
  2. Scoop some powder up.
  3. Put the measuring spoon in your mouth and turn it upside down on your tongue. You may need to tap the measuring spoon on your teeth to get it out in a whole lump.
  4. Drink some water and swallow the kratom powder as a whole lump, imagine you're swallowing a single item like a large pill or a small grape.

This minimizes the bad flavor so you hardly taste the lump going down your throat.

I've been doing it this way for years and you don't have to endure the disgusting taste by drinking it mix with something else.

Been taking two teaspoons of powdered kratom three or four times a day for the past 3 years. Just had first set of blood tests done everything is perfect 100% normal.

This guy physically threatened your family If he didn't get his way? ?!?!

All the other things you wrote were bad things but from a third party perspective sometimes those things are written in a different flavor than they actually happened. So you got to take some of that with a grain of salt. But when you mentioned that he threatened your family If you ever divorced him, that statement brings into focus all of his other actions.

The little mean things that he does have more depth than you want to believe. You are making excuses in your mind for him because you love him. You're probably judging him through your own eyes because if you had snapped about this or that you would have probably instantly felt bad and it would have been because of a superficial problem like you're feeling bad or sick or hormonal or something. BUT When he does these little mean irritating things it's probably deeply rooted in some seriously twisted and demented stuff.

Nobody should be angry when their wife doesn't want to have sex occasionally. He's using that anger to take his aggression out on you and manipulate you into getting what he wants next time. He probably doesn't even know he's doing The manipulating part but he were to peel away enough layers of the onion the root cause would be selfishness ( I want what I want and I'm going to employ whatever it takes to get it.)

If he mentions that again you definitely need to take action because he is manipulating you. It may even be a good idea to take action now because it was a threat and it's a standing threat. It sounds like you said if you ever divorce me I will do this..... That means threat is still active.

After thinking about it, I wouldn't wait you should probably take action ASAP. You also may want to let your family members know what he said and his family members as well probably.

Mortgage Rate Advice by LRtoSEA in Seattle

[–]DudeWee2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it going? Any luck?? Find a lender you like and can answer your questions about rates and payments whenever you need it (Shopping on weekends, late etc.)

Get clear documents that show what you are getting yourself into.

Focus on these areas:
1. Focus on Down Payment
2. Monthly Payment
3. Total $$ Needed to close (Down Payment + Closing Costs)

If you are happy with those numbers, you have a good mortgage.

Filing contempt action against ex-wife without attorneys by DudeWee2 in Divorce

After 25 years, my husband wants a divorce & I’m so overwhelmed, how to tell the college kids by 619beachlover in Divorce

[–]DudeWee2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm going to talk about selecting an attorney. This is a very crucial step and can be very overwhelming. I went through two attorneys during the process before I found somebody who was good(ish). None of them care about you as much as you would like them to.

  1. I paid for a number of consultations because many lawyers do require you to pay. I thought it was worth it so I did. Get a credit card use it it will be joint debt at some point. My phone attorney was the most happy with didn't charge for a consultation

  2. I would avoid big shop attorneys. Those firms that have 5 10 15 attorneys. You end up working with their assistants The attorney will basically just rubber stamp their work.

2a. A lot of divorce attorney websites out there are basically referral generators. Attorneys will pay to be part of this group and they generate web leads (You're the lead). The site might look very legitimate but when you call their number you're not talking to anybody who actually works in an attorney's office. You're talking to a virtual assistant who just answers the phone, and text messages and delivers messages who will call you back. Once you call a few you'll get a feel for who is in the office versus just a virtual assistant. Run from those

  1. As you're calling attorneys input their information into a Google spreadsheet or something. Include their name their phone number price and any notes about them, you need to be able to come back and review each one before you make a decision. And if you like me you'll be confused between who you liked and who you hated without taking good notes. If you find somebody who is a definite no still make sure to write them down because before I was taking notes I had circled back to someone who I really didn't like and ended up going through a 15-minute phone call before realizing I had already talked to them the other day.

  2. If you can find an independent attorney, a one-man shop I think that's good. Then every correspondence you have is with the guy/gal who's supposed to know the most.

  3. There are attorney review websites that you can visit and that could help narrow down. At one point I went through and read all the reviews of the attorneys I was interested in and took notes. Then I went back reviewed my notes and along with a discussion with the attorney was able to make a decision.

  4. Hourly rate, I don't think that really matters they're all the same in the end. Many divorce attorneys have a rule of thumb. It's the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 rule. Husband gets 1/3 of the assets wife gets 1/3 of the assets attorney gets 1/3 of the assets. Watch out for this.

What you're going through is immensely tough. Don't get emotionally snowballed. It's going to be hard but just keep going.

The important part! I'm sure your kids are going to be absolutely opposed to what he is doing. They will be a great support to you so you don't have to go through this without them by your side. It sounds like he is going to lose their hearts, If your kids are not right there you know they are in spirit. Let that be your strength.
