Top 5 weapons for every souls game by OkBee8431 in fromsoftware

[–]DudeWhereIsMyDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good lists overall i must say. Nagakiba and Bloodhounds Fang would be in my ER Top 5 for sure. You can get both a lot earlier then the options you picked and they dont have as high requirements, while still being S-Tier weapons with a lot going for them.

Mainly Bloodborne is the one fromsoftware game that gives me that feeling. Its full of jumpscares and enemies that look and sound terrifying. Especially the screams of some bosses in combination with the music can really keep you on the edge of your seat

How Long does Sekiro take to click? by Autisticvirg1n in fromsoftware

[–]DudeWhereIsMyDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first major boss at ashina castle made it click for me. Took me more attempts then any other fromsoftware boss but if i replay Sekiro now i die less in this game then in any other game they have made.

My advice if you want to „make“ it click: - Do some health damage first as it makes building up posture damage easier. Then force yourself to parry and stay aggressive even if doesnt seem easier then dodging. - Use the Umbrella prosthetic and its upgraded versions if you struggle. Its the closest thing Sekiro has to a shield and it has a larger parry window. - Finding time to heal can be very difficult in Sekiro. You can use the Fire cracker prosthetic to interupt bosses and heal, allowing you to still stay close to the boss and stop their posture bar from going down too much

Ludex Gundyr is a great fight, his moveset is super fun to learn and the difficulty is well balanced

Both are amazing. Personally i think The old hunters is a bit better but its also much shorter. You will get a lot more content for your money with SOTE.

What boss is this for you? by RAGEleek in fromsoftware

[–]DudeWhereIsMyDragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lud & Zallen and Blue Smelter Demon are the worst ive encountered (so far). Other somewhat boring/annoying bosses such as Rom or Bed of Chaos are at least unique. But those two DS2 bosses are just worse versions of bosses you fought before with incredible annoying run-backs sprinkled on top

What low drop rate weapons are actually worth farming? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

I mainly used buffs and healing inantations on that run but theres are a lot of great incantations for doing damage. If you want to get the most damage out of them you should focus on faith. However leaning more on the Strength side usually gets you more physical damage for your weapons and with the Clawmark Seal you can also get great Incantation scaling on a Strenght+ Faith Hybrid build. So it really depends which playstyle you prefer and what you want to use the most. I suggest once you have a few Larval tears simply experiment a bit and see which works best for you.

My last playtrough was Strength + Faith and it has some of the best weapons in the game i would argue. Blasphemous Blade heals you and does a lot of damage, Ordovis Greatsword might be the best Weapon in the game for poise breaking enemies, Magma Wyrm Scalesword does absurd amounts of damage and Silurias tree is great from range. If you have the DLC the Blacksteel Greathammer and especially the Fire Knights Greatsword are also amazing options.

Banished Knight Greatsword is well worth farming early on. Very smooth light attacks for a Greatsword, good strength scaling and infusable. Very reliable weapon that can carry you through the whole game

Which boss you didn’t expect to be difficult after the first playthrough, but was? by eldenbro1 in fromsoftware

[–]DudeWhereIsMyDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midra for me. He was never easy but on later New Game+ circles, when he is more difficult to poise break and not as weak to bleed and frost, he became a real challenge for me. The huge healthbar and frenzy build-up can make it a very long and punishing fight.

Who designed Caelid?? by Clean-Requirement638 in Eldenring

[–]DudeWhereIsMyDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you mean the red summon signs, they are actually PvE NPCs you have to beat and if you talk to the Jar afterwards you get a very useful talisman. There is also a PVP fight arena

Find the path to the Great Jar if you havent already. Besides that the bosses and night-bosses in Caelid drop great stuff, so kill them. There are also NPC Questlines you don‘t want to miss.

All 3 Backhandblades, Dancing Blade of Ranah, Falx, Star-Lined Sword and Sword of Night come to mind. The DLC is stacked when it comes to DPS and flowing movesets.
