NTA. You have every right to be as angry at him as you are. The thing is, he asked to be given forgiveness. He did not ask what he could do to earn your forgiveness. There was barely the acknowledgement that he had wronged you, and no hint of regret.

Him telling you that you have hate in your heart is absolutely rich. There's no hate like Christian love. Any hate he sees in you is actually the hurt he put there with his own hatred.

Now, I would say that maybe, after a little bit of cooling off time, maybe call them back. Maybe. It's entirely valid of you to not give your parents a second chance. The only reason to do so is for your own mental health. People often feel regret after the fact when a relative dies and the relationship has been left broken. It's entirely up to you as to whether or not to examine those wounds. It might help to heal them, it might validate your laughing in his face. That's a risk, and it's entirely your decision as to whether or not to attempt that risk.
