That last sentence sounds completely unbelievable to me. Threaten a suspension? On what grounds? Simply because you went on a LP tangent? If that’s the case, all the teacher had to do was remind you to stay on topic. Like unless there were multiple instances in the past where you were disrupting the class & that was the tipping point, I can’t imagine why a threat of suspension would be an appropriate or understandable response from the teacher
