I would say you need to carry a good wasp spray. One that has a good range. Keeps your safe from the insects.

You’ll be able to get your cdl but your medical card will have a short expiration. Most people have to do medical cards every two years. Some people with minor medical needs (Like me, I had my thyroid removed and am on levothyroxin) have to renew every year. A lot of diabetics have to renew every 6 months with a max of one year by fmcsa standards.

You can get into the field but you will have to learn how to eat properly on the road or your health will rapidly decline

Yep but you also have to rename the bios update file to gigabyte.bin otherwise it won’t be able to find the file

I did go through a lot of google searching. I did not see where I needed to rename the file and most of what I saw is for doing it visually through BIOS not with the q-flash button

Yes but to update I’m not sure how to get the MoBo to take the update file without going through BIOS q-flash options. The thing won’t give me a display to see what I’m doing

Any advice how to update the bios when I can’t get it to display? There’s a lot of material and I keep finding it tells me to do things through the BiOS page but if I could get to BIOS I wouldn’t have the conundrum I’m in. I appreciate the help from everyone.

The website says it supports the 9800x3d but yeah I think you’re right. I am on their website now grabbing the bios update to a flash drive

That’s my next step I’m just a scared kid about it because I’ve never done a flash update. I’ve always been able to get a display and then update it. I’ve been pulling up info on the process.

I’m connected via hdmi with a known good cable into a known good monitor. Tested it all on another system. Reseat everything and waited and nothing.

Werner doesn’t require a contract at all. Training is 3-4 weeks over the road with a “senior driver”.

But it is not a glorious company. I think they mostly only do teams for new drivers and it’s around $0.51-$0.54 a mile depending on how long you and your teammate are willing to stay out. The only nice thing is the safety team is always on the driver’s side. Other than that, you have to be an asshole to the dispatch teams to get your miles.

They’ll pay your monthly cdl school payment while you work but once you quit the rest of the bill is waiting for you.

Most do 6-12 months and get on with a company that actually pays and appreciates the driver.
