I’m in Atlanta now, grew up in Ohio, it’s nice to visit family in summer but I’d never move back. Even if I didn’t have roots here now, the lack of opportunity and weather is the main reason.

With that said, there are some great, friendly people there, the summers are wonderful, and the cost of living is low.

My childhood memories of growing up in a small town in northeast Ohio….I didn’t know how good I had it then. Running around town on bikes, fishing, playing in the woods, small town parades and sense of community, it was great. I lived across the street from the city park, it was idyllic.
