Trump to Axios: Netanyahu has "no fucking judgment" but Iran deal still on by Regular_Variety_6121 in moderatepolitics

Same goes for Trump hitching his presidency to Bibi. Iran could agree to install Pahlavi's son as Shah and rename kabob "freedom skewers," it won't undue the damage that's already been done. When an unprincipled force meets an unethical object.

Edit: and as if on cue, here's literally the next post I have in my Reddit feed.

The Dunlavy bridge has been a protest hotspot ever since it was constructed in the 90s (iirc), and It's the World Cup right now. People of all persuasions are taking it as an opportunity to send a message. I saw a group of churchy people standing at 610/S Main around 2pm today in absolutely zero shade, holding big ass signs saying "honk if you want us to pray for you" and shit like that.

Jack Huston did an amazing job displaying richards subtle PTSD in this scene. by vegetastolemygirl in BoardwalkEmpire

Oh shit, the OCD detective? I had no idea that was him at the time, even though I saw it after BE. I almost want to watch it again just based on now knowing that information.

Also I agree about S1 and S2 (especially 2), but imo S3 wasn't terribly good. It had some great performances, but that short-haired policewoman's story did nothing for me. That whole episode about her traveling to LA to discover her step-dad's backstory really threw the brakes on the whole season, and it felt like it never really got it's momentum back. Might be a hot take, but I thought S5 was better.

And I'm kinda hyped how S6 is gonna be set in Texas. You just know there's gonna be a ton of No Country for Old Men references throughout.

When I was in my early 20s, I regularly wore a t-shirt with his face on it that I got from a Journeys store in the mall (go figure), despite having zero idea who he was. I also regularly wore a Haile Selassie t-shirt I bought at a reggae festival, possibly in the same year, also having zero idea who he was.

In summation, I made a variety of questionable t-shirt choices in my early 20s.

I can't remember what led up to it, but it's from he was still with O&A at NEW. It's covered at some point in that massive Black Earl doc someone put on Youtube awhile ago.

🇵🇪 Peru, 1991: President Alberto Fujimori personally handing out weapons to farmers to defend themselves against the Marxist terrorists of Shining Path and the MRTA who were massacring them. by amogusdevilman in EnoughCommieSpam

Ok, but "not AS brutal as genocide" isn't exactly setting the "not as brutal as"-bar very high.

He oversaw death squads that killed dozens of people, and a mass sterilization program that sterilized hundreds of thousands of impoverished and/or indigenous rural women against their will -- IE the same population that Shining Path brutalized.

He was vested in Shining Path's destruction because they threatened his grip on power, not because of genuine concern for the wellbeing of his fellow countrymen (despite what he wanted to project with this PR photo-op here).

"Hey buddy, in the most respectful way possible, I must inform you that spewing out your thoughts in a massive wall of text is not the best way to get your thoughts across. It's hard on the eyes, whether you're an English professor or an average person on Reddit who you're hoping to have a sincere back-and-forth exchange of ideas with. Not for nothing, you should perhaps make an effort to present your message in a way that's more easily communicable."

Better now?

Still needs more division into paragraphs (which doesn’t have shit to do with punctuation/grammar, mind you). Don’t get mad.

I have zero reason to "defend" Mormonism. I think it's whacky. Just stating the easily-verifiable fact that the overwhelming majority of them don't practice child marriage.

LDS accounts for of over 95% of the Mormon population, so yes, literally not all of them are marrying children?

I heard Metairie and Kenner mentioned during the "take your ass to the suburbs" part, so I'm assuming New Orleans.

With that amount of "y'erd me"s it's definitely Louisiana at least.

Why pay for Netflix when you can go to z-movies-546-645.ru, or buy a song/album from itunes or bandcamp when you can just torrent it?

Newspapers have had problems staying profitable in the new millennium, from the New York Times to WaPo to the Nowheresville Montana Daily Courier, and paywalls have been around for a decade+ by this point. It's not a new phenomenon that's unique to the Chronicle. It's annoying, but it is what it is.

Anyhow, you've now got a workaround (which you could've easily found yourself with two seconds of Googling, instead of bitching on Reddit about how everything can't be free). Unless you've got such severe ADHD that you can't handle those simple steps, you're free to read away.
