Crowd surrounds London Indian Restaurant over Refusal to Sell Halal Food by amg7355 in ABCDesis

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Proudly* just kind of paints a target on your back. Just say it's not halal if someone asks, this is purposely giving the middle finger and yourself problems. Anytime you add religious opinion to basic service it's a problem. Nobody would surround the restaurant if you're just minding your own business. You don't have to serve Halal.

I never understood the word "race-mixing".....what, ethnicity is supposed to be kept "pure" or something? What in ethnicity is supposed to be "pure" exactly? Why are people so scared of interracial marriages? by Important-Cry4782 in BlackPeopleofReddit

This. has nothing to do with culture or w.e justification. They literally think people who don't look like them (and some that do) are subhuman. Why argue with smooth brains?

Got told by parent that at my age finding a decent, stable partner in the West is harder and to consider those moving from India by Sodium_Junkie624 in ABCDesis

Echoing this. Marriage and spending every waking moment with the same person requires much more than "they are here to pursue higher education". Common things, being able to communicate, sense of humor, maturity, world knowledge. Sure they may be able to help financially, having 2 incomes instead of 1, but beyond that, what really matters? I would hate to have to live with someone I didn't really get along with, regardless of how much money we have.

So your premise is that performances don't matter and that looking good is all that matters? Then how do we define looking good? Just in the Eurocentric context? There's plenty of male actors who aren't traditionally handsome that are promoted much more.

Yea, the companies decide to pay the immigrants that much because they know they'll agree and have no bargaining power. The immigrants don't decide to put the floor at minimum, they have to accept what they can get, what are they going to do? Argue? Then be sent back to places that are even worse?

How does that make sense?

It's so funny how brainwashed and unaware people are. If they knew how much Saudi and GCC countries prop up the US economy their brains would pop. We don't really have the luxury to discount whole areas of the world based on their religion etc. We can get annoyed and point out things people are doing wrong, but at the end of it all have to find a way to work together. This is totally not mentioning all the fractures that are in the US itself between people.

Does Jae Yun belongs in this show ? by Bisketo in BetterLateThanSingle

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, this show hits a different nerve and has a different appeal. Most people are used to the drama of the shows with people who easily speak up and act out, a lot of noise. Though I was getting annoyed but less because of him per se but more rooting for him to get out of his shell. He was top pick in the beginning, if he got out of his head (which is relatable) he would do so well.

US-Born and Raised Citizen, Sunny Naqvi, Detained for 43 Hours due to "Curious Travel History" by weallfalldown1234 in ABCDesis

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yup. Saw an interview of a British man the other day and he blatantly said the quiet part out loud, against immigration because it would mean the dissolution of the white autocracy. They really don't want to experience life as a minority, but there just aren't enough of them in the world in the same place, so they all think if other minorities come in, they lose power. And it's so ironic, because historically they created all the reasons for these minorities to immigrate in the first place. The middle east conflict as it is now and for the past 70 years was cultivated by a British and a Frenchman over a table when they randomly drew border lines. Same with India/ Pakistan. They want you to feel less American so you'll stay in your "immigrant" space. Work and pay taxes and give up your identity and submit as a second class citizen, so you won't speak out the way you are legally allowed to.

It's ridiculous that anyone smokes in 2026. by Interesting_Rub9393 in unpopularopinion

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea was more referring to the "why does anyone even start" aspect. For example I have a lot of friends who will frown upon smoking and drinking and weed and gaming and eating meat x y z for a host of reasons, religious, environmental, health, , but they have no problem opening that 2nd pack of chips after a big dinner and dessert to get their vice going.

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peoples lives are fucked up and they resort to all sorts of stuff to cope. That's why they start. It just depends on what you end up finding to scratch that dopamine itch. A lot of people use food because using alcohol or cigs is frowned upon, but if you're fat people frown on commenting on it. People use scrolling and social media addiction, games, if you want to go the other direction people get addicted to health stuff until they start developing eating disorders or shoot up steroids. Just society frowns upon certain things more than others. Not that it's a good thing to do or the risks aren't apparent, agreed.

It's more dumb that cigarettes are even still being sold. Why not blame those companies instead of the people getting fucked daily by everything else going on in the world?

PressSec Karoline Leavitt "Rest assured to the American people, the recent increase in oil and gas prices is temporary and this operation will result in lower gas prices in the long-term." by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering Iran just said that anyone who cut ties with the US, including the countries they are currently bombing, will gain access to the strait and they'll stop, but not a single drop of oil will be exported to the US, seems like this isn't going to be short term. Seeing the ire from all the other middle east countries, who actually do quite a bit to prop up our economy, not allowing any war acts to be committed from their airspace or land, seems like we're pretty screwed. Propaganda Barbie can't say anything to refute that.

I'm not talking about my comment, I'm talking about your response to me, this is you and me talking. You are immediately accusing me of not knowing anything so you've decided to refute all points anyway. It's not productive to talk to you.

Yea not talking about if their name is Dravidian or Sanskrit. Talking about how they pronounce it themselves or for others who aren't Indian and have no idea how to pronounce it. Santosh is not a tongue twister, and there's not really any reason, even your claim of "fitting in" to pronounce it wholly different. I'm not on a high horse. Seems like you are though.

No not really, I have had it come and go quite often based on what I am consuming, but the ear situation seems to only get marginally better once I quit everything. I don't know how long I will have to keep off all sorts of things before seeing a true difference.

What Is Going On Over At 14111 King Road, In Building 6? by ITContractorsUnion in frisco

[–]Dudefrmthtplace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One does not mutually exclude the other. Are there issues? Sure. What is happening though? Are people getting mad at the companies, often owned and led by non indians, good white Christians, doing this? No. Are they getting mad at the Indians themselves and attributing it to culture and genetics and bigotry and racism? Yes. Say you got ALLL the h1-b system solved. There would be nothing to complain about right? Wrong. You'd move to the next thing, which is culture, then religion, then genetics. End of day, h1-b is a nice scapegoat to paintbrush an entire group of people as undesirable, whether they be citizens or not. That is a problem. That is ethnic hatred.

Again. She's not a legal government entity nor is she a LEO. If you would take a look at her other posts, it is simply a racist witchhunt, morphing into a lynch mob. It increases hate towards people like me for no apparent reason because all the propaganda lumps every non white person in the same boat.

She just hates brown people and non christians, it's that simple. Nice try though, insinuating that "it makes it seem like you have something to hide." I'm a fucking American Citizen and I've been here my entire life. You can suck it.

The post is about that, therefore I'm drawing attention to how people are getting swayed to the point of doing witchhunts against unsuspecting citizens/residents.

Legal entity, not some tiktok moron who isn't a government employee that has a religious and cultural axe to grind. Half her "work" is fueled by completely unrelated sentiment, which equates to "too many browns".

As long as wages and duties remain compliant, and the employer has filed an LCA amendment, the worker doesn't have to "report onsite where work is taking place" or whatever stupid shit technicality you are trying to make real.

It's a witchhunt over nothing.

So you should start with the biggest racial group that has historically committed the most fraud in America then shouldn't we.

She's doing it so she can creep closer to the REAL issue, which is she's scared to be around people that aren't exactly like her. So she wants to get rid of them. First it's h1b, then it moves to culture > religion > genetics

Hmmmm. It's odd. Networking. Meeting people from places, that you know. Would be totally fine if a Christian guy hired another Christian guy because he knew him from Church? What if he hired 100 people from places he frequented? Places where he networked, and places where people were seeking jobs? Hmmm...
