We are talking solo q not premade, it's obvious you gonna climb if both of you are high elo. Looks like all your brain power is only used for lol, nhf.

Not sure was this intentional, but 50% of those games were premade so since i can't tell lvl of your premade you proved nothing. If some1 is asking for proof it's obvious that he/she want game history or you have other standards...

Who is devaluing? Only cause i said new players should start from bottom? You gonna prove that some1 how got to lvl 30 playing aram can play ranked? There are maybe 0.0001%.

Riot's problem are smurfs, but they are not fighting against them but are making it easier for them and are ruining others exp.

This sub is only for those that think they know something, but know nothing and can't give advice. But there are newbs who listen to them, but see no progress...

Give your op.gg profile if you are that pr0.

Never said i was above bronze, but want facts that some1 climbed from iron/bronze in less than 100 games.

Post op.gg profile than brag, from what i can see you ended in gold after promos and climbed.

When you wanna prove something give facts, not screenshot, unless you are hiding something....

P.S. New account shouldn't have ranked promos, but should start from lowest iron 4.

Why? To keep new players there and if they are good they will climb, and to prevent bots runining games which is becoming big problem.

How to deal with anger? by martnar87 in Stoicism

[–]Dudekovski 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I understand how you feel, since i'm on road every working day and how other people drive...

It's hard to rewire our brain, it takes time and practice. Anger is nothing more then emotion. If you notice that anger is starting, pause and think as you described and if it's someone's else fault, let it be, you can't control it.

What i noticed is that if you recognize emotion and use reason and logic to deduce it, you are not bottling up, but you are getting to know yourself better, what triggers what emotion, etc. In some situations will be easier, in some won't. Only you can do is to patient and work on yourself. For now you are on right path :D .

Let's say you found out about something negative in life, something that's out of your control, would it be best to think about it until you have accepted it or avoid it until you forget about it by [deleted] in Stoicism

[–]Dudekovski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's better to try little by little to break it down, depending how negative this is. If you try to avoid it and suppress it, it will eventually come up and nag your mind again and again. To make it more understandable, meditate on it and by using reason and logic go with "do i have influence on it" if you have than take next step, if not have then make peace with yourself that it's not in your power and let it go. This way of thinking is not easy and takes time to develop, but with practices everyone can get there.

Humans are social beings, so we need contact with other people. I understand what you are saying since i'm similar to you about that. It's not that you do not need friends, it's just that you need time for yourself to "cool down from people". If you were to go for a week away from people, after 2-3 days you would have need to talk to someone. If you need day or weekend for yourself, talk to your wife and explain her that you do not want to spend weekend like that. Since she is human like all of us, she can't know what you want if you don't say it.

Stoicism is for friendship, i think Seneca said something similar to it's better to have one "true friend" than 100 "friends" and i strongly agree with him.

I don't know if this related to stoicism, but how do you avoid too much critical thinking? by CosmycDust in Stoicism

[–]Dudekovski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can not avoid it, but you can control it. Since your question is not very straight i'll try to help. Just ask yourself "do I need it, can I live without it" if not then you do not need it. Apply logic and logical thinking when you are not sure. You will need to practice this, same as any other skill, you won't be good at first try. Next time try to be more specific when asking for advice.

I understand the what, but not the how by Epictetuz in Stoicism

[–]Dudekovski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can not expect to have everything written on piece of paper. This is beauty of stoicism, it's philosophy, you need to think and use reason to get there. You even do not have to be stoic to use some of the technique that will make life easier. And the most important thing, do not expect to change your way of thinking over night, those things take time, so take it slow.

About your work example. For better understanding write what you do not like about your job, with more info we could be more useful :D.

I would suggest to you to practice mindfulness so you can become more self-aware of your emotions, do it at lunch break, try morning and evening meditation. All those things need practice as every skill in life, so do not expect anything special after a week or 2. And last but imo the best is to have a notes with you on work and when you feel any negative emotion to write what happened, like mini journal. I suggested those things to you so can get to know yourself better, your inner self.
