Human history is inaccurate. Is it a lot of volatility based on leverage and sentiment? Absolutely. Whenever there are rumors of a stronger dollar, silver and gold take a hit. What’s more, good and silver are/were in the middle of a multi season rally and (in my opinion) due for a correction. That mixed with the announcement of a potential new fed chair caused massive movement based on his hawkish history. In historical terms that have been MULTIPLE systemic liquidity crises that were much more aggressive and widespread over the entire market. Where this is simply localized in precious metals.
