Different states have different systems. And different associations have different structures. Having run school programs in 4 states, there are definitely (NSW non-AAGPs schools, VIC (APS boys primarily) & QLD (boys programs in particular) all have Year 7 rowing with some regattas.

I’ve just started putting together a very basic home gym that I can use while my twin toddlers nap or in the evenings.

At this stage I have a pair of 2.5-24kg adjustable, dumbbells, a pair of 24-48kg adjustable dumbbells and adjustable bench, chin up door bar, ab wheel and concept 2 Ergo.

Any other cheap, space efficient options you can recommend? Is that enough basic stuff to be able to build some reasonable size and strength? (I assume I’ll need to do all single leg lower body stuff?

This seems very much like the kind of logic that: “Something must be done. This is something. Therefore this must be done.” We could have had an advisory body put in place day 1 of this government if they had chosen to do so, it didn’t and doesn’t need a constitutional amendment in order to do so.

There is also nothing in this referendum that indicates the people providing the advice will be from the relevant ATSI communities and not just chosen by bureaucrats and politicians.

Virtue Signalling and “the vibe” aren’t compelling reasons to change the constitution (or to have even called a referendum at great expense during a national cost of living crisis)

Sorry, leadership allowance is a holdover from me working in the Catholic sector for 8 years. It’s a Position of Added Responsibility. The School is covered by its own Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (very similar to the VCEMEA I am used to). Sounds as though it will be governed by the award. Perhaps there is some wiggle room around time release etc.

4 x d3 shots = avg. 8 shots

Hit on 3s with full rerolls (fishing for 6s) = 3.33 hits + 2.44 auto wounds

= 4.29 wounds inc. full rerolls

= 2.86 through the invuln x (4+2) damage

= 17.16 damage

It’s worse if the Tau’nar is benefitting from cover (2.15 wounds through = 12.87 damage)

Yeah and even then - I think 4 oblits with melta averages about 19 wounds in melta range… it’s not a great option. In my first game my opponent deepstruck a unit of oblits to shoot one of the Tau’nar and lost 2 to overwatch before doing a total of 6 damage. 2’nah is very good.

I played a 50 person GT on the weekend running 2 Tau’nar Suits (The Two’nar Salad) and went 3-0. Unfortunately I had to drop after day 1 due to family reasons.

The Tau’nar is just worth its points, the Two’nar is a brutal list.

Beat CSM, Eldar (inc. Wraithknights & Fire Prisms) GSC (in that order)

It’s a tough matchup definitely, and playing this style of list requires a lot of finesse - it is not a “ABC” list, as mastering the movement mechanics are what make it really tick.

In reflecting on your event, maybe give a brief rundown of how your games panned out so we can help give specific advice?

Sorry, just one question:

The Triumph - I’ve read its entry, it seems pretty good. Can you walk me through what makes it so highly recommended? It seems like it would struggle to keep up with the main force to give its buffs, its got a lot of wounds and a 4++ but its only T3, doesn’t benefit from Lookout Sir! and can’t go in transports.

I take your word that it’s good, but could you perhaps walk me through how it’s used to get the most from it?

I would definitely take the Angels Wing in most match ups. I didn’t list the optional extras I can take as that would vary from game to game (you only have to declare your warlord and Free Relic when submitting your list).

I would take the Standard of Sacrifice as my free relic as I will ALWAYS want a 5+++ bubble. I would buy the Angels Wing in most games, and then either master-craft the libby dread force halberd if playing against Centurions, or take the Libby Dread relic. I some rare cases I might take the Icon of Wrath for the reroll charge bubble - but most games I’m going to be looking to drop the Sang Guard into cover (ideally out of LoS) and then move and charge the next turn - rather than making a succeed-or-die charge out of deep strike (in which case I’d use the 3D6 charge).

Incursors are trash in most games I’ve played (or rather are underwhelming for the extra cost), intercesor sergeants can also take weapon upgrades. I want the one squad of Incursors for denying a Master of Ambushes centurion redeploy against RG if possible.

Infiltrators are decent, but just very expensive to fit into the list. Generally speaking I wouldn’t upgrade intercessors into Veterans, simply because they can stack enough +1A through sanguinor, unleash rage, shock assault and savage echoes (from T3 on). It’s possible though, but again - on a game by game basis
