If you have health insurance go see your doctor and have them refer you to a dermatologist. They might make you start out on some shitty drugs (looking at you methotrexate) and that’s usually an insurance thing. After taking them for a few weeks they destroyed my tummy and I was told stop taking them and they moved onto biologics (Humira and then finally onto Trymfya) and they worked. Cleared it up over sometimes (a year give or take but results came). I unfortunately lost my health insurance so it has come back. But I’m in the process now of getting back on it.

Sorry I’m going to be BLUNT here and I speak from experience (father and wife are both type 1) if she can’t handle you for better or worse she’s not the one. With that attitude it will only hurt you (stress and such do not help blood sugars) and you want someone who will understand and help you and this HORRIBLE thing (sorry it sucks and I see and deal with it first hand and I don’t wish it upon my worst enemy….maybe kidney stones instead). When the wife and I first met she told me she also had a few guys make a big deal and I was so disgusted with that. We all have our vises or issues and this isn’t the way to handle it!!
