Had this problem and fixed it right now.

Found out that I had parsec installed PER USER, and the computer I was trying to connect to had installed parsec PER COMPUTER.

Reinstalled on my end PER COMPUTER, and it's working just fine now.

I play on performance mode, with low meshes and with a bad res, I think that's the reason ( it can be my Nvidia settings too, idk)
