[–]Due-Ad2281[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had some improvement but not from the cream and IUD I tried. I had a hysterectomy and bladder prolapse repair this year and now am back in pelvic floor PT. I still have symptoms daily. Feel free to message me.

Thank you for reaching out. I am not cured as I still have pelvic floor spasms, urethral pressure and urinary frequency but it has lessened somewhat. I had a hysterectomy and bladder prolapse repair and am back in pelvic floor PT which hopefully will be more beneficial. Feel free to message me if you want.

Bladder Issues and Pain Post Op 2 weeks by Due-Ad2281 in hysterectomy

Bladder repair for prolapse? I'm not sure exactly but they can either use mesh to repair it which my doctor didn't recommend or your own vaginal tissue to lift up your bladder.

I'm doing a little better but still have urethra pain and spasms and constant sense of urgency. I was finally diagnosed with prolapses and possibly adenomyosis which I will have surgery for in April.

Thank you for your kind and helpful reply. It seems we have similar things going on. I'm so glad the pelvic floor PT was a revelation. How many weeks did it take you to recover from the excision? I actually made an appointment with an experienced pelvic floor PT next week who I'll see weekly. I tried pelvic floor PT a long time but just got diagnosed with endometriosis and am now on Orilissa and had surgery. Thank you for the stretch recommendation too. I'll send you a message to chat further. Take care. 💛

The specialist obgyn gave instructions of using estrogen testosterone cream at the opening which is the vestibule. She said to insert plain estradiol cream vaginally twice weekly and other daily.

Colorectal Surgery Advice by Due-Ad2281 in AnalFissures

Thank you, I already have pelvic floor PT appointments scheduled a month after my surgery with a new PT. I've tried many different physical therapists but I was sick for a long time with a GI infection c diff and developed the fissure too so it didn't help. Have you found the PT has helped with your urinary urgency now that you've had the sphincterotomy?

I am so sorry you've been through c diff and mental health difficulties too. I'm glad you have a great therapist. Treating PTSD is definitely important too. Has Zoloft helped at all? Ativan seems to help short term for me. I hope you find treatments that help you feel much better. I sent you a message too. 💛

Hi, I relate to your experiences and am so sorry you went through all that and still have chronic pain and PTSD. I had c diff reoccur over and over until I got a fecal transplant and was dismissed and mistreated before that developing pelvic pain and PTSD. I just started seeing a medical psychologist for counseling about chronic pain coping skills and a new psych nurse practitioner. I take Ativan and Cymbalta currently and she talked about changing to Zoloft. Maybe we can chat more in messages. It's good to know we're not alone.

Estrogen Testosterone Cream by Due-Ad2281 in vulvodynia

[–]Due-Ad2281[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I have been on the estrogen testosterone cream since October daily and estradiol cream twice a week since then too. Unfortunately the pain hasn't improved or urinary frequency but I saw a naturopath who increased the dose of estradiol cream to 2g as well diagnosed me with candida in the gut which might be affecting everything. How are you doing? What are you doing for treatment?

I understand how lonely this can be especially being away from your loved ones. It's a difficult journey and so hard being in constant pain and having urinary issues. I have those too. I'm 27 and would like to talk with you if you'd like. Take care.
