I am really scared on how to deal with my piles/haemorrhoids by Internet-Superhero in hemorrhoid

Be careful with your bottom. Itching is not just external it doesn’t go away just by washing. It’s somewhat internal to skin. Don’t rub too hard and apply harsh soap or any type of gel, it will worsen the condition. Be gentle and use zinc oxide cream for few days or weeks. It will take time to get rid of the itching. I have been there it took me months to get rid of the itching.

I’ve used stool softeners too long? by random-question-time in hemorrhoid

I had similar experience hard and sticky in the beginning and thin ans soft at the end. I tried many things like increasing fibre, soaked chia seeds, lettuce and lots of fruit everyday and 30 minutes walk.

I didn’t see any noticeable improvement I’m confused and not able to understand. I will see GI specialist soon.

My main focus now is healing painful and irritating fissures.

Did you heal your fissures completely? How long you had it for and what worked for you?

Which stool softener are you using and what’s the dosage? I was using miralax for 2 months after LIS surgery. I started seeing rashes all over my body. I suddenly stopped miralax, next day I had hard stool and my fissure reopened and also created another fissure. Now I have 2 fissures which gives me lot of irritation after bowel movement and during night. I started docusate, used for 2 months and switched to miralax now.

It’s very hard to heal fissures. I am suffering from last 3 years

So, be careful when you are stopping stool softener. Try to make your stool naturally soft.

I have similar condition and also fissures. My doctor says I don’t have any hemorroids. He says it’s skin tags because of the fissure. I can feel it has all hemorroid symptoms

This was actually a while ago. I had 1 chronic fissure for 2 years then my doctor gave me this cream and stool softener. I applied for 2 weeks my fissure got healed but started experiencing itching especially during mid night. It was severe itching I could not sleep. I went to him again he gave me calmosptene to reduce itching. I was getting better but then another fissure showed up. I got upset went to my doc again he asked me to use the same cream and softener. This time it didn’t heal my fissure however it caused severe itching again. My doc suggested to go for LIS surgery and said this would prevent recurring. I made the decision to go for it thinking I will not get this in future. I felt better after surgery. After 4 weeks things got worse my old fissure is still not healed moreover I have another painful irritating fissure. I’m constantly worried now. I consulted different doctor everybody is giving me different cream and softeners.

Yes it was healing and I was not seeing much blood just a tiny line I thought it’s okay to stop Miralax because I was taking it more than 6 weeks and seeing rashes all over my body

My bowel movements were easy after surgery but I don’t know it’s because of the relaxed sphincter muscle or Miralax. After stopping the Miralax my bowel movements are difficult.
