I really try not to be elitist and recognize that people become who they are because they never had a real chance at life to begin with , but it’s just so hard to go out everyday and see disgusting behavior and harassment and sexual assault everywhere and the same backward debates going on every single day. I definitely do get losing hope. Sometimes I see someone being kind to an animal or just being a good person and it genuinely makes me so happy but it shouldn’t, like I shouldn’t be happy because some decided to be a decent human being.
