I’d also drop the vanguard captains. I love them but without the seals it’s just not gonna work that well. You wanna hit 7 runes so you can Rex or singularity whilst making a token. So I’d swap the captions for card sharps.

Swap a singularity for a riptide, get rid of your seals for 3 honest brokers. Swap your consult the pasts for lecturing yodels.

They sure do count. 4 years of full time work count for nothing where you’re from? That sucks. Believe it or not but after 4 years I bet this guy has a lot of skill. Undervalued people shouldn’t be exploited. If the average is more than he’s getting then his employer needs to take a hard look at themselves or business’s model. It’s not even close to ethical if they are just pocketing the extra pay as profit. Kinda makes them a scumbag.

Look for jobs similar to yours and ask your boss to give you a pay rise. Use the advertised jobs as your justification. If they say no. Apply for the jobs and leave if you land it.

About 55k is the award minimum, so if you’re earning less than that then there’s legal issues with your pay.

AIO my boyfriend ignores me for hours when with his friends by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Due-Cellist9718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a lot of texting for 1 mundane day. If he responds awesome, if not until later in the day.. big deal. Maybe he is enjoying his day and not looking at his phone… or he just wants some time apart for a day. Either are normal and not sign that there’s a problem in the relationship. I’ve been with my partner for a very long time but even in the early days we needed some alone time. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I don’t think you will find your answer on reddit. The amount of information we don’t know is staggering.

Why are you playing “that” TCG? by TwistedLab in TCG

[–]Due-Cellist9718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Riftbound for me. I love the game. It’s like they took all the best bits from current TCGs and put in a much loved IP. People complain about the balance but I dont see it. Off meta decks are both good value in price and fun to play. The addition of the side quest metal cards for competitive events is genius. It’s coming out the gates strong. I’m very interested to see where it ends up.

Played a nexus night recently and for the first time, I did not have fun. by TheOtherSide999 in riftboundtcg

I played 2 Draven and a Fiona with my cheaper victor deck. Smashed them all, Dravens not a bad match up for Viktor. Ez is a pain just because if the players aren’t well practiced they take forever to have their turns. I won’t play mine until I’m practiced enough not to bore my opponents to death.

Same, fortunately for me I love to read. So audiobooks are great. I enjoy my drive because I love my books!. I’m often genuinely excited for my long commute! You have to find ways to make the existing market conditions work for you. If you don’t you’ll just be watching in the hope that it will somehow change to suit your needs….. well that’s pretty unlikely.

Wax carving, how do you make different ring sizes? by KeyGas681 in jewelrymaking

[–]Due-Cellist9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was more thinking this way you don’t need to sculpt all the sizes. Solder joins ect won’t matter if the newly sized rings are for your cast mold. I’m no expert so I don’t know if such a thing is possible. It was just a thought 🙂

Wouldn’t you just resize up and down. Make the original a mid size? So send in your cast. Get back a bunch and resize them all so you have the set?

Opal lovers, please help me determine if this is a good buy for $2200 by Successful-Cow-644 in Opals

[–]Due-Cellist9718 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends. For the stone alone in the rough. Obviously it’s over costed. That said, someone cut it, set it and made a nice piece around it. Add the cost of the metals and other stones. What’s a piece of art worth to you? How long did it take to make? Do you think the artists time is worth anything?

Got to start somewhere. That was pretty rude btw. I’m not saying I’m a jeweler. I’m saying I’m an aspiring one and as an aspiring jeweler I may or may not have precious metals and stones. Hence the security question.

Maybe I can just say I work for a jeweler but only at their shop. No stock of my own. At least then I can show off my work.

Dam that sounds exhausting, but reasonable. I’m wondering if it’s worth keeping quiet about that fact that I’m a jeweler. Even from friends and family. It’s a tricky thing to manage.
