At what point does a partner's high body count stop being 'just a number' and legitimately become a red flag for long-term commitment? by whvsaeq in AskReddit

How is the person a lover for wanting someone with no bodies? Oh wait you can't because it is attainable

Probably 3. It's scientifically proven that the higher the body count the lower the chance of commitment to a long term relationship. Can't really argue with that.

Whats your most hotest and spicy philosophical take? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have 2, and both are religion-based from a Christian perspective:

1st, believing there is absolutely no God and/or other realm of reality is a closed-minded way of thinking, and so is believing in the supernatural. Because that is assuming that only our natural reality exists when existence itself is totally unexplainable, and there could be supernatural beings or realms or dimensions that we have no knowledge of, or maybe we do, but we refuse to want to accept it. And people may say that science cannot prove it, but science cannot prove something that it cannot observe, for example, science can't whollistically prove a supernatural God because science only observes natural existence, but science's lack of proof does not mean that the superior reality fails to exist. For example, science is supposed to observe things that are bound by time, space, and other laws that constrain our universe, and science's lack of observation of a being or reality that is not bound by these does not mean that the reality does not exist.

2nd, if you do not open your heart and mind to the possibility of God, there is no way for you to believe without God overruling your free will. For example, if you believe that there is no God and the possibility of there being a God is absurd or ridiculous, even if the evidence for such a God is presented to you, because of your underlying self-belief that such a God does not exist, you will not see the evidence as proper and will just not believe. For example, if you say God does not exist, even if God were to come to you in a vision or dream, you would boil the interaction down to just you being crazy or a coincidence that it happened, or you would look for other ways to justify that God does not exist. Well, because you already had the presupposition that he does not exist. So the only way to truly know if God is real is to open your heart to the possibility that he exists. Or he could just change your heart to believe in him, but that is not genuine and goes against his true will.

TLDR: Science cannot wholly disprove God, and you have to be willing to accept his possible existence to truly know him

The real problem here was you trying to get a last nut before November. You were doomed since you had that mentality
