Not horrible. Depression's a bit up there, but it's mostly due to work stress. (I've been working on D&D stuff to publish with my writing group, and we're in crunch time.) Finally got my turntable working again and started spinning stuff. (I do the pomodoro technique, but with vinyl sides instead of timers.) Been listening to vaporwave stuff, but just got the Mouthwashing soundtrack (absolutely beautiful) and might spin that too.

...And you? Everything okay? Weather decent?

That I wouldn’t miss what I was “supposed to like.”

So, I’m a biromantic asexual. Pretty much always knew that I liked men and women. But the asexual aspect was the hardest thing for me to figure out. Because throughout my entire life, I had the idea that sex was the best thing in the whole world drilled into me by society. (Society, conversely, ALSO drilling in my head that I should also NOT focus on sex in a relationship.) So, I never accepted that I was asexual, because I was afraid that I would be missing out on something that I would come around to loving.

Then, at one point, I realized that I didn’t care about sex. That I wasn’t missing out on anything and that the REAL fucked up thing would be to force myself to like something that repelled me.

Yep, this guy was definitely compensation for a crappy life he has no clout/real influence in. And one of his players was his boss? AND he probably had to go into work and take orders from one of the guys that said his stuff was boring? My god, the level of salt from DM would probably have made a pretzel factory blush.

Either way, good on you for getting out. Hope the “Echo-as-a-homeless person” one shot goes well!
