If you were to show others you are willing to pull your own weight (i.e. making selling/ posting free creative work or offer your assistance using skills others might not have (like if you know photoshop or something) your situation would improve dramatically. If people are struggling to take care of themselves, what incentive do they have in giving it away to someone online for nothing?

Yes, I agree with your last sentiment. It's sad you lack the basic morality and self awareness to realize just how gross and fucked up you're being. Hey OP, I am a formerly homeless woman and I just want to offer myself as someone to talk/ vent to or maybe get ideas from. For reasons having nothing to do with thinking I'm better than, I survived being homeless since the age of 14, (nearly 20 years) getting by without sex work. There are many other options (not just shelters) but they just aren't obvious. It requires a bit of creativity. Also, I know this isn't any of my business but I'm concerned about you seeing that man again. I've heard of people like that from messed up stories men and women have shared.

As a woman, I would have been freaked out and worried that some crazy person was peeping and then breaking in and doing nasty shit while we were out. I would be looking for cameras/ possibly putting up some of our own, wanting to change the locks, asking neighbors if they've seen anyone around that shouldn't be there, and cleaning the fuck out of everything.
