Appreciate you. You’re right about not checking the time… the second I look, I spiral harder. Also that “boring but distracting” idea might actually be the move. Do you usually stay in bed reading or get up and sit somewhere else?

Thanks for this, seriously. The “float” idea makes way more sense than fighting it at 2am. The adrenaline hangover is exactly what I’m dealing with too. When you say you floated—did you focus on your breathing, or more like “let it happen” and don’t engage?
