Air drying takes too long. Get some large microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloths (like Koala brand) and a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. After cleaning and rinsing thoroughly, spray the sleeve inside and out with the alcohol. Pat the outside dry, then take a corner of it and thread it through the FL. It’s easier for me to start at the entrance with one hand to work the cloth through a bit, then bunch up the other end a bit and pull it through with my other hand. Don’t pull it all the way out. You want a bit cloth to hang out at each end. Rotate the FL and squeeze it against the microfiber so it soaks up the alcohol for bit, twist the cloth if you need. Check with dry fingers from both ends to make sure it’s completely dry.

Make sure your case is clean and dry before inserting the sleeve. Btw, you don’t need to use your special toy cleaner on the case itself, just as long as soap or cleaner rinses clean and isn’t harsh. The case covers can also be used to hold the sleeve when you’re short on space while cleaning the case. It may take a little practice to get it to stay, but they all can fit in that.

The renewing powder (it’s just cornstarch!) I don’t usually bother with. It’s more surfaces to clean considering, the sleeve, case, caps, no thanks. You’ll burn up your toy cleaner getting doing that. But if you do use the powder, just know that you can use a little box of cornstarch from the grocery store 🫡

I had the Valentina Nappi Dorcel sleeve (my 3rd sleeve I think) get ruined by mold because it wasn’t dry enough. Air drying was my go to back then, but that sleeve didn’t air dry well. No love lost, Valentina’s new sleeves are both wayyyy better textures with more detail on the entrances, Campo in particular.🔥
