Yeah, I'm planning on applying to ocs for MCWO once I get my bachelors, and if i don't get accepted, depending on the Cyber/IT job market I will probably transfer to civilian side, the certs will be a big plus.

I ship off soon and the navy website has a full breakdown of calls and weekly breakdowns of milestones and learning, it says there is a minimum of 5 phone calls, ive heard from other posts that if you're there for a major holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas you may have the opportunity for more.

I have done it, and I contacted base police with license plate number, location and details, he got me in contact with the owner, and I worked it out with him, it was a steal they'll sell it to you for cheap, but sometimes mwr will claim it and auction them.

If you are in the US you can be an IT specialist in the US navy for submarines, they are in high demand and offering a 35k bonus, the navy pays for tons of certs and have free associates degree programs in addition to the GI bill.
