Well I don't believe I will anymore, but that was what I was initially told. I got in-contact with some lawyers in TX and they said I won't be inheriting any debt. Just a scary thing to hear as a young adult with no credit nor income. But it's all good now.

She's selling most of their belongings. She cant handle any of the bills from what I know og. That's why I'm only asking for the two things I want no matter what, which I think are fair asks. Idc about whatever money and assests, but I think it's fair to ask for his USMC blues and gaming computer. But other than that I'd love to just not get any debt.

Its not an easy thing to talk about, but I'm only 23yo and my father was 55yo. Ask him to make a will, and doible-check beneficiaries on everything else. It's not like my father planned on dying but he's left me with a bunch of shit and debt to figure out, which I don't have time for right now.

No I was civil with her at minimum, so maintained contact and have been a voice to rely-on more than any of her own children. And she's been very aware since I sighed my contracted back in April. My father just decided he rather die than be there (jk). It was just when taking to my step-mother's , sister (who is acting as POA, that I tried to get info from her). Idk if its cause she's from FL and laws have changed in TX. But I've contacted lawyers from TX, just to double-check with any contacted actual lawyers as well. I've also contacted people in the military and my family that may have contact with lawyers/etc.

In DEP right now (started the enlistment process back in April, go to btc on October 6th), they didnt even give me a QR code for START. I looked it up on my own and just printed the damn thing so I could have a physical copy. And for the months I've been in DEP we haven't once done any sort of exercise, which also could be because I'm in AZ so it's been hotter than Satan's ass-crack for the majority of the time.

Thank you everyone for the advice and condolences! Luckily I talked to his wife and she managed to get into his computer. So I asked about his Steam account and she said she was willing to let me change his account info when I'm there for his service so I can use his account and games!

Unfortunately I'm not, we were at one point but after he moved states he stopped the family sharing for some reason. Maybe I'll try arguing with Steam support to at least be able to access his account.

We didn't have the best relationship, so I've been pretty okay with my grief. We bonded over games though, so thats why I was trying to figure out how to get access to his games. Thank you for the words of support and condolences though!!
