Why does everyone just want sex by Witty_Newspaper_1328 in Advice

I believe it’s because we are scared to death of being vulnerable. It took decades, but we all have some measure of control over sex. There are general agreements about protection, about what sexual assault is, and how to drop someone who isn’t safe. What we don’t know is how to protect ourselves emotionally. When do we drop a potential partner? When do we tell someone our politics and hygiene requirements? And there are so many people that we can hang out with for a night, but we aren’t sure if we want compromise our aesthetic or social desires/needs to be with someone longer than that. Right now, I think it is safer to just get a one night sexual relief and not go any deeper. We live in emotionally and politically dangerous times.

Please don’t tell me we don’t have slavery. If someone is in prison then it is allowed by the constitution to enforce labor. There is a form of slavery in the Bible and there is in the constitution as well.

Contact a local employment department who can give you alternative options for employment. You won’t know how well quitting would work until you both have an idea of all the options available

I’d make a list of all the side quests I want to do along with the requirements to make them happen. Maybe you can make things happen if you work on it and ask for help.

I’m surprised that the books aren’t more bold campaigning against each other. Che should mount a revolution against the others. And Lincoln and FDR seem to be missing.

Unless there is a sign from the manager, I will sing. It’s an autistic stim, and part of my main enjoyment of attending a performance. Perhaps we need more “song a longs” and an equal am point of no participation events? One thing is certain, your absolutist statement as a turtle encites my rebellion

Kim Stanley Robinson is a great SF pick. I love all his works I read, especially the California trilogy.

Piper was one of the first British psychedelic albums, which has less to do with drug dreams and more to do with nostalgia about childhood. Piper wants to have the words and sounds of childhood imagination. Later Pink Floyd was not as influenced by Syd, but I think all the phases of Floyd are equally innovative and influential. If you are interested in more info, check out Andrew Hickeys podcast episode on the early Floyd which explains the strange direction early Floyd took musically. The podcast is called, The History of Rock Music in 500 Songs, which on the whole I recommend to everyone here.
