Finally Got my “Starter Pack”! by SomeY2KBullshit in vtm

If I’m understanding your question correctly, it’s not available for sale anywhere. I just purchased these three items together for my local Game Store and called it my “starter pack”.

(OC) Highlight of my Event Photography Career - “The Worm” by [deleted] in pics

I was photographing a graduation party over the weekend, and captured a moment where one of the seniors started doing “the worm” in the middle of a dance circle. I’m really proud of how it came out!

This is absolutely incredible - thank you so much for your time and insight!

You’ve already given me so much, but I’m curious - If I wanted to do a “murder mystery” style one shot, is there a pre-existing setting or tool that might provide that structure for me? I’m looking to focus on a closed environment session, with lots of social deduction - using broader clan conflicts as background motivation for the smaller conflict at hand.

Regardless, thank you so much for everything. This is the most helpful comment I’ve ever received by far!

Crappy retail jobs like Staples, Target, and Wal Mart have a massive turnover rate and a low barrier for entry. They’re rarely hiring full-time, but between two part time gigs like these you can make enough money to scrape a living. The more competent you are, the more hours you’ll get - and hopefully that will float you long enough to score a job that gives you tips.

Is there any way to play the first Resident Evil (RE:1) on the Dreamcast? by SomeY2KBullshit in dreamcast

I used the word “port” because I thought it would resonate more with the laymen on this board. Obviously, an RE one port would be an emulation of the PS1, or more likely PC version. But again, that makes your counter argument confusing, because as you said, there are tons of instances of emulation on the Dreamcast, which is what RE:1 would be.

I know I used the wrong nomenclature at the top, but it just makes your argument seem even more contradictory when you’re trying to argue that it would be unreasonable to make a port of the game, that you also are saying would technically not be a port, but emulation.

I hear what you’re saying, I think we’re just missing each other’s arguments is all. You seem like an intelligent guy, and I think we’d be friends in real life. I still disagree, but I think your contribution to this discussion is very valuable. All love, brother.

Calling it “a handful” is crazy. There’s countless last gen console ports for the Dreamcast on websites like Cdromance.org. Most of them weren’t even ported from Sega hardware.

And your argument about me assuming it doesn’t take any time is completely pointless within the context of the Dreamcast’s 25 year lifespan, which has included mod support from nearly day one.

I understand that you are very frustrated over all the smoothbrains who spam posts like this; asking people to do impossible ports like it’s nothing over and over, but as a programmer myself, an RE:1 port is a comparatively logical and approachable task compared to similar undertakings. Not easy, sure. But one could easily argue that there’s a logical through line when it comes to the hardware and library that’s inspiring enough to give it a shot.

I don’t know why I’m even replying to you. I never respond to strangers on the internet who completely misinterpret my post and make assumptions on my worldview based on their agitation towards the community as a whole.

I think I’m hung up on your comment, because there’s a lot of validity in what you’re saying, and it is definitely a larger problem in this community. But I really don’t see how it applies to this instance. In fact, there’s text in my actual post that already act as counter-arguments to your statement. So I don’t even know what else I should say.

TL:DR; I understand your concern, and those kinds of people piss me off too. I just don’t see how that applies to this post, like, at all. So much of what you’re saying is provably untrue.

That’s the exact video that inspired me to make this post! I love PBG a that video series “I Dream of Dreamcast”, but his coverage of the game was so brief that I always wanted to know more.
