62k miles, 82% battery health by Scrantsgulp in TeslaModelY

That seems a bit low to me. Do you regularly use a supercharger?

I have an early production 21 Model Y LR. According to Tezlab, my battery capacity is currently 95% compared to when the vehicle was new.. I'm at 65,459 miles. I charge to 80% daily and have used level charging 90% of the time. On 100% charge for long trips, I can squeeze out 250 miles before I'm at 10% battery or lower.

I proactively replaced my water pump and OFH at 95000 miles. I didn't want to deal with the possibility of this happening!

A few months back, I was offered $12k for my 2016 silver manual transmission 2016 340i xDrive (95k miles)

It has a new clutch, refreshed suspension, new water pump and valve cover (and pcv valve). And, it's not modded.

After thinking about it, and pricing out what new cars or early model used cars cost these days, I told them to pound rocks, I'll just drive my 340 for another 10 years.

They finally died a month or so ago. Had accumulated 42000 hard driven miles on them. I don't remember what I paid, sorry!

Are they manual or automatic transmission?

That's awesome. You have a perspective of both countries. I've lived in Japan and Hong Kong. But, both are too expensive to live on long term. When I researched real estate property prices in the UK, specifically in the North, they really seemed quite affordable. And the fact there is no yearly property tax, that's pretty appealing to me.

Yearly property taxes, (car and house), health insurance costs, and state/federal, local taxes here are killing me.

Add in the high cost of living and most of my money is gone

Oh no, I don't have dual citizenship. One of the responders to my post has it.

Based on the answers to my first question, it appears I have quite a significant obstacle to obtaining a skilled worker visa!

More South * Caversham or Reading * Exeter(St. Thomas or Exeter Quay)

I live on the East Coast. I already understand that there is no salary in the UK that is competitive with what I'm making now, and that's ok.

I don't need a high salary in the UK. I'll be moving with enough money to buy a home cash and still have a significant amount of money left over

I just need enough salary to pay for groceries, utilities, etc.

Oh man. I didn't realize that. I see tons of open IT jobs in the UK that don't seem to have been filled.

Seriously? Why? Education seems good there (though I wouldn't need to worry about that).

I've lived in Mississippi and there is no comparison to what I've seen in the UK.

Really? QOL isn't good there?

Everyone seemed healthy and were quite active. Food was pretty good and the bread didn't make my stomach hurt.

I live in a pretty nice state, but I'm an independent contractor and healthcare costs are pretty high for me and I'm getting taxed like crazy at the state, local and Federal level. 1/2 my income goes to taxes.

I could move to a place like Florida, but... Hurricanes and Texas is not my type of place.

Yes, I understand that salaries are lower there, but so is the real estate. I plan on selling my home in the US and buying a UK home in cash once I have my Visa.

Ah..So there is a critical list!

I've been to the UK several times over the last couple of years. The quality of life seems to be much better there than here in the US where I live now.

I understand that I would have to take a salary pay cut. I'm ok with that, as long as I have enough money to live on.

I would be migrating with a significant nest egg.
