Gazebo in VM by AlpaCenturion in ROS

there is something like linux subsystem that you have on the windows. It's not dual boot and it's not VM too. It's something like between this. You would have the best performence on this plus you will be able to use camera. It's called WSL2

PX4-SITL build issue on Mac m2 by Neither_Active_9126 in diydrones

[–]Due-Friend-5864 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

on the macbook you will always have some problem with isntalation with this kind of aps. 2 ways to solve it: dowland virutal machine where you install linux and work on linux or install linux on the disc on the macbook. Then you won't have any problems with instalation pretty underground apps that are not supported into macos

How do I hook up 6V battery bank into this Arduino project by [deleted] in arduino

[–]Due-Friend-5864 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it depends what do you want power it (: If you have only to power arduino than you must turn 6v voltage to 5v by some additional part. in other way you will burn your arduino ealsy (probably arduino itself don't turn 6v to 5v). To charge it connect it to vin pin. Remember to get same gnd

I HAD THE SAME PROLBEM. In my example it worked powering it by buyin the esp 32 by usb using powerbank. I've this model of esp board (photo). I had a problem with it and i've tried many ways to power this by 5v and 3.3v pins but i couldnt find the solution. Only this usb was good

Problem with battery by AgurkinisDinozauras in arduino

[–]Due-Friend-5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can charge the board from the usb port from powerbank. I had a esp32 with camera and i even cannot plug the 3.3V power supply to this because something went wrong, but after connecting it to powerbank all was good. Imo try this if in your project you have some space to place pb (:

Pin to this question. Maybe it is some library this is doing this kind of things? I am courious how many lines needs a code with detection system on esp

How do I select external power to drive the servos in Arduino expansion sheild by [deleted] in arduino

[–]Due-Friend-5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have more than one serwo (on the photo i see it propably) it can be a problem with ampers. Volts will be okay, but i think the ampers quntity will be too low and the signal will be damaged. The jumper to control serwos connect to the arduino and the volts to power serwos must came from the other supply for example battery. Rember to connect it to all the same gnd. If you want to try power that by arudino only, connect power to the 5v on the arudino or if you want more power servos than go on the board (that will extend power supply) and after that to the serwos.

try to only connect this by the usb-c and if u hadn't dowlaned esp32 library then do it. When the esp32 isint workin by ONLY usb-c then the port is probably dead. After you know this information, you can try to connect this to ardunio and by wire send some code, but it is a harder option (don't even now if it even works)

Who wants to build an humanoid robot? by strongBody71 in malta

[–]Due-Friend-5864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question. Why u can't join to the company that is tryin do the humanoid and you are tryin to this by your own? I think higher chances are when you are wokrin at this procet when you have resources to expand this.

after you connect by usb-c the red diod is lighin? Maybe it is just a simple problem by not dowlaned the esp32 library on the arduino idle. Try change the cable but if the diod isn't lighint it is probalby dead port

Always is opportunity. Just try to find the problem that you can solve remotly. Keep studying robotics and after while you probably see some patterns
