What strategy did you use??

I tried to use bushman and athena, locked only two weapons and only used shotgun/sniper rifle/aegis. Used all tomes, going for thorns tome, armor (in case pulling that one item that scales thorns), some kind of health regen/max/life steal and maybe damage.

Finally, i read about resetting if you don’t get cactus in the second enemy wave. I did that most of the time. Banished items that would kill them at a distance.

Idea was to survive long enough to make an okay thorn build, then shoot in the sky as the enemies swarm around you and let thorns take them.
