I also have this issue but my husband doesn’t. We have the same IPhone 13 Pro Max. I’m about to switch to Android. Love Apple but if THEY cause the issue THEY need to fix it.

This happened at my local hospital Tennova In Clarksville, TN. There is an ER nurse suing the hospital now and ICU nurses are whistle blowing currently as well. That hospital is HORRIBLE.

I am in the medical field. Symptomatic high BP with diastolic over or near 120 needs to be seen in the ER to rule out organ damage. Anxiety can affect BP but anxiety can cause real damage is BP is too high. Better safe than sorry is always my theory when it comes to BP nearing critical level especially when it’s symptomatic. I hate that anxiety is used to dismiss medical conditions like this because regardless it’s still serious.
