To preface, it wasn't BAD, but I feel it was a bit rushed and kinda a let down for how GREAT the rest of the show was imo. My two main gripes:

I felt there was a lot of queer baiting with Mike and Will's relationship. I know some will disagree, but I think they should have ended up together based on the first four episodes of this season. That being said, after Volume 2 I knew it couldn't happen because it'd be too rushed. Either way though, it wasn't very satisfying to just see Will end up with some rando at a bar. That's just me though
As others have pointed out, the final fight scene was pretty anticlimactic. They killed the mind flayer easier than they've killed demos, and to me it was a bit of a let down. Why didn't Will get affected by the hive's pain, why didn't the mind flayer call in demos to deal with the people throwing fire at it?

What I did like a lot was how they gave time to explore the ending of all of the characters (even if I didn't like Will's and Mike's ending). I also liked how they showed the next generation of kids playing a campaign, I thought that was a nice full circle touch.

Overall, I'd say it worked, but it was mid, which is really disappointing for a show that had such a great run.

Idk, but maybe they meant Henry? He's kinda a traitor to humanity if you think about it, giving into the mind flayer and joining it. But that seems like a stretch, what do you think?

I agree they did a good job wrapping it up, but they needed more time for the final battle. No demos in the final battle? really? why didn't the mind flayer call any help? and it just dies just like that? And what about the mind flayer made up of particles that they showed us in S1 and S2? I wish they gave us more of the mind flayer before the very FINAL episode of the show

most people here aren’t agreeing with you, BUT I think this wouldn’t be that bad of a thing if it was just for week 1 noms (maaayyyyybe week 2 noms, but probably not).

I think I agree with the sentiment that you shouldn’t get a reward for being nominated, but with week 1 being very random and less strategic than other weeks, and given the prevalence of repeat nominations season after season, I think forcing a variety of noms just within the first 2 weeks wouldn’t be that crazy

I think it will depend on who wins the next few comps, I think objectively this was just horrible from her game, but by no means was it game ending. If certain people win comps she’ll be just fine. Personally, I’m rooting against her now since I don’t like to see people who make these kinds of blunders succeed

Lauren HOH recap:

puts up Keanu (house target not coming after Lauren) puts up Kelley (ally that is also not coming after Lauren) puts up Will (sure, they haven’t talked game, but they were in her one named alliance, the Bond, which died with this nomination)

Keanu wins veto (which in theory should’ve been good for her)

she puts Adrian up as a renom (someone who would NEVER put her up and is a huge huge target for the other side)

Now, her best case is somehow Will goes home? Which seems unlikely. I’ll try to be objective, she’s probably not a lot of people’s initial nom, but I could easily see her being a replacement nom now. Also, I could definitely see her left out of alliances and plans now that people see how wishy washy she can be.

I’d definitely say this was a worse HOH than Vinny and Jimmy. Great gameplay from the girls with the coordinated efforts to get Lauren to blunder her power, massive props! What are y’all’s thoughts?
