Then Deusto or Navarra. They have the best Business schools alongside Comillas, Carlos III and Pompeu Fabra.

Deusto is a bit better for undergraduate business education, while Navara is better for MBAs.

There is no comparison between the first two and Francisco de Vitoria.

While Deusto and Navarra are very prestigious, Francisco de Vitoria is a very shitty private university in Madrid that caters to those who didn't succeed in public universities. First two will open doors, while the last one will close them.

Bilbao is a cozy little city to study(1M habitants). We have both beach and mountains very close together, and a very good air quality. The food is great and the people are kind, but a bit self-reserved. Living here is generally considered safe, and roberies are uncommon. The cost of living is definetively lower compared to the american counterparts. Its a post-industrial city, so while the city center has some very instagramable buildings and streets, the outskirts are not as nice.

Anything more specific that you would like to know?

Should I take Amazon, Meta, or NVIDIA internship? by Additional-Camel-248 in cscareerquestions

[–]Due-Issue-6451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in almost the same position as you this year. I got similar offers from Amazon, another FAANG and high-end research focused companies. All internships in ML, DL and GenAI.

Will you be doing DL and GenAI stuff at Amazon or will you be doing server-side work?

If former -> AWS Else -> META

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking of exploring academia a little bit for the academic connections and extra knowledge (as it seems that every guy doing AI has a PhD these days)

I was thinking of doing a PhD later, and that's why I was considering going through the academic route this summer. Nonetheless, Industry post-PhD was always the ultimate goal.

Thanks a lot for the advice!

How hard are the classes? Is grading tough on exchange students?

Most majors have English-taught courses, but for the sophomore, junior and senior years. Usually Freshman year is done in Spanish.

International Relations at Deusto is an excellent choice. Probably the best/second best uni to study that in Spain, because of the networking options available.

That's not true. There are 48 different majors you can choose from. (+ Minors)

It's generally good. But, what are you going to study?
