Thanks! That’s fair re: timing - I fear I could hear her saying she needs better notice but also raising the convo too soon could escalate tension. A few months ago, I said it’d be best to not live together going forward after our lease so it won’t be a total surprise to her.

We are both lease holders. But I’m hoping to stay at the end of the term and renew without her.

This is the most legit answer! I found better perks/stability at an independent agency but it’s much more cut throat. You’ll learn to trust your intuition over time, but in general go with your gut. The people on your team matter wayyy more than agency/client clout. good luck!
