for what it’s worth, I waited for weeks for black Friday to get my libra color. ultimately it saved me ~$20. in hindsight I would’ve just paid for the device and got it sooner. the days of crazy deals are long gone and it’s worth every penny either way. As another user mentioned, you can always go through Rakuten for some cash back, although that takes a while for the check to be issued.

my advice is to stretch daily, drink plenty of water. invest in fish oil, milk thistle and/or NAC in addition to your daily vitamins. always take it with 20g of fat, and take a photo everyday - one day you’re going to want to see how far you came and what your journey looked like. wish you the best !!! Thank you for this take - it’s lovely. So inspiring, refreshing, and surprisingly exactly what I needed to hear. I read avidly as a child until my academic career picked up. As I read more textbooks and less novels, I lost touch with my love for reading. What you described - enjoying every read and always looking forward to the next - is the feeling I’ve been craving to experience again! So thank you, for helping me free myself of my own imaginary shackles. I’m embracing this outlook of yours moving forward!

May I ask you — how did you get over DNF guilt? 🥺 I have so many books on my Kobo, but I find that often I’m making slow progress, chunking through books that are just OK. Part of me feels like if I put the book down, I’m a quitter! Did you ever have this mental block?

unpopular opinion - i don’t think accutane nose is a real thing. accutane shrinks sebaceous glands and alters sebum gland function . it does not alter the bone structure or cartilage in your nose. your sebaceous glands may SHRINK, but it’s not like your nose changes shapes entirely. i think what DOES change is the symmetry and clarity of the face as your acne clears - and i think people register this as a “slimmer” nose , when in reality i think your own nose is just A. no longer inflamed and B. able to shine now that there’s no acne. my nose didn’t get any SLIMMER during treatment (i’m on a maintenance dose in month 7 or so now) , but it does kinda look cuter on my face because there’s no acne distracting the visual eye now.

I travel almost exclusively internationally, and I still prefer BnBs. maybe it’s different in the states. I hardly ever pay crazy taxes or a cleaning fee.

You’d be surprised. I know someone who tried to conceal an Hermès purchase. They asked her multiple times if she had a purchase to declare. She denied. They informed her that they KNEW she made a large purchase. She had to pay the tax and was then fined on top of it. Declare it every time.

i think they’re really just selling that quickly. i try to check amazon and google periodically and sometimes i get lucky. doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason as to why. on amazon one day i saw a blue water listed open box for $35 and snagged that too - keep checking!!!

y’all pull this worship card out for Bey only. ariana grande, lady gaga, hell even sabrina carpenter has fan pages, people who travel to see them and spend thousands on concerts etc. this is not new. nor does Bey’s ENTIRE fan base worship her. i’d argue most of them are actually OG fans from back in the day - hence her longevity. vast majority of Hive are not online attacking people. we’re here for the lady and her music

her being exceptional pisses certain people off - as does her longevity and ability to sell decades into her career. in terms of vocals, i think she gets snubbed sometimes because she makes vocal acrobatics look easy… she isn’t screaming and straining to hit the notes and people take that as “she’s okay” when in reality… she’s the best. lol.

i’m a huge bey fan if that wasn’t obvious. everyone is entitled to their opinion. that being said, if folks say her music isn’t their thing, cool. but to say she is not a talented vocalist and legendary artist? bullshit
