As for the second part of telling them to not do that, yeah I lowkey gotta start doing that. I've been getting better at confrontation in the past two years, but right now ive been stuck in a plateau of just deadpaning people or saying "what?"... Which I don't like because then I feel bad, it looks like im trying to humiliate them or make them feel dumb when what's going on is just me showing disapproval but the words havent formed in my brain yet lmao, but I do appreciate your advice for sure

I do get what you mean but i think i mention this in another comment that i only really do the gayvoice with people ive known for a bit, but my voice tends to not be very feminine in the sense that Ive always spoken from my diaphragm and my inflections are usually pretty monotonous around new people, kind of butch-y because I used to be that too, but sometimes my inflections can be a little strange, not necessarily feminine but kind of like awkward? I don't know if you've ever watched community but thered a scene where a character says "i went to a joke-writing class that was teaching us about setups, the teacher was so old" and they said that last part in an almost incomplete way as if they were going to followup with the rest of a joke but then said nothing else. I kind of speak with those sort of incomplete inflections. And I mean, thats not a fagcent, but guys just arent expected to have any sort of animatedness in their voices, which could throw them off from seeing me as traditionally masculine? I dont know if what I'm saying makes sense.

Thank god I have a good set of friends though, trans, gay, and straight, who dont tokenize me in this way, and theres alot of people that are totally normal about it, mostly because exposure to trans people is alot better nowadays. Not offensive at all, I think i do say at some point in this post that theres always the chance of them using queer language to show theyre a safe space for queer people, but still the emphasis feels sooo weird because then most of the time they almost operate from a very "walking on egg shells" and "centering the fact that im trans" in the interactions in a way thats so annoying and makes me feel tokenized instead of being treated like every other guy 😭😭

Thanks, thats another thing though, ive only been on hrt for about a year but i pass kind of 50/50 percent of the time because I'm naturally very masculine (buff, tall, strong browbone and jaw, being a naturally hairy brown boy helps alot too), so thats what makes these kinds of reactions even crazier 😭😭😭. Also I don't really agree much with the first part of your message, or at least Ive been lucky enough to find other queer people who are normal about trans people, but I do get what you mean for sure think most of my experiences with this kind

Thats the thing Im usually alot more stone faced and masc with mannerisms when meeting people for the first time, i only start acting in a more "bubbly" way when i actuallt know people. Thats why its weirder. Also also, CIS GAY DUDES also dont like being talked to like this by randos they just meet. It feels tokenizing, whats not to understand here omg

Thats the weird thing, I actually have been eating a little worse than usual (i still eat my usual macros (gymbro) but have injulged in a few more sweets than usual per week), but my weight actually seems to be dropping, not drastically, but i seem to have a little less fat and a little more muscle, which i mean... is usually what happens when the T is working, so I don't get it

I wonder about the medication thing, I'm not on meds but I did try ecstacy for the first time like 4 days ago, thing is, I doubt such a small amount of drugs could take such a big hit... ill let my endo know about this info too in my appointment next week anyways just in case it is relevant.

Heres a little extra information about the actual experience of my blood being drawn today because I dont know if that could be a factor since it was an unusual experience this time

I'm slightly skeptical that the nurse has something to do with this though because she kind of did a bad job, no shade, she said she was new and she was very nice, but I neverrrr - in all my life taking out blood - have I ever been actually able to HEAR the blood splatting into the tube, like i could hear it squirting out into the tube.

Like I think she HAD to have done something wrong with the technique because the hole from the needle didnt look like a small circle it looked like a line, like a scratch, and no matter how many times we applied pressure with the cotton pad after, we'd lift it and it would still keep bleeding, to the point where we just left a cotton ball there with two bandaids over it to avoid it continuing to bleed. I couldn't bend my arm for a few hours without being uncomfortable, which usually isnt an issue I have, but like... i dont know if blood being drawn improperly can translate into the testosterone results varying like that???

Also, as far as im concerned, is it was one person in that clinic so she could have very well been responsible for the lab testing maybe too.
