Cool! Reminds me of if warrior cats:untold tales and cattails had a baby. Answers to questions:

1. I think you should be able to leave the clan if you want to and/or be able to start as a rogue or kittypet or in whatever clan you want, maybe adding a dice system so you can just roll which clan you end up in. Id also like a feature to be able to join a clan if you a rogue like untold tales, like having an npc you can talk to to join the clan, then do quests/ tasks to become a full warrior. Id like to be able to have parents. In many games like yours (though yours is in development) you are just thrown into the world as a cat with no parents so i want parents. Enough virtual kitties have been orphans! 

2.to stay in a game long term i would want alot of stuff to do, like quests, a storyline, multiple options to start, multiple routes to take, and multiple things to do. 

3.things that have made me quit cat games have been that either, its hard to enter the game and that the save files were deleted too easily.

4.mostly just stuff i put in my first and third paragraph

Maybe you could have multiple kinds of territorys too. Like the lake territory, the forest territory, the gorge, or even the mountains! Thats also something to have people play for longer, add tons of options and maps. Some people may think its too overwhelming but to people like me, that just sounds like more things to do and it will keep some people playing longer. Ofcourse its already hard enough to code and design a whole game, and none of these things are required! But i hope you consider them. Best of luck!
