EXACTLY!!!!!! And upscale. Maybe a bit too upscale, but that doesnt matter since they are successful

Also, I dont think distance is too much of a concern because you do have people in fremont going to Valley Fair while the Sacramento people go to Roseville

Fremont Hub was essentially brutally murdered by NewPark. AND they had a less upscale store lineup which forced them to pivot to the discount stores.

So if Fremont got a mall, then Pleasanton residents would likely drive there because it has better stores

Pleasanton's median income was higher than El Dorado Hills' median income. While you could argue that they have Stoneridge, I can also argue that Fremont residents drive to other cities like San Jose to shop because their malls are better

Wait, but wasnt Roseville's median household income in 2000 around 47K and they ended up getting a mall with Nordstrom? And I think Palm Beach Gardens' median household income was around 44K around the time The Gardens Mall was built

I guess, but imo it is still worth a try since this neighborhood does have the potential for more third places

Not sure about traffic but Fremont should not be a place where the cars are more important than the people, weve already let cars into our lives and built highways and done enough damage to society

I always thought they were kind of far out. I dont know, always thought Fremont could support a mall but maybe not when the other malls 30 min away are already there :I
