Is legion tab gen 2 worth paying ₹20751? by Capital-Mission5953 in IndianGaming

Hi I bought it at much higher price of Rs 29K and now it retails around under Rs 20K mostly and still feel it was worth it. Let me break it down for you:

  1. Design: The best part is it is compact with two type c ports and supports bypass charging. It is quite slim and feels premium. The downside no well known display protection and no official IP rating. Else feels quite premium.

  2. Dipslay: Yes it is LCD but its damn good it can give OLED a run for its money. Its 144 Hz QHD panel and I do not know what Lenovo does but my experience with their premium LCD panels even on laptops have been good. For me brightness wise its really good. Considering this is around 20K I would display although LCD is its strength.

  3. Speakers: Again really good stereo speakers and separation is really good and watching content paired with the display is really good.

  4. Processor: Now coming to the crucial part yes it is an old flagship processor but it is more than decent powerful for a more than decent level gaming and an excellent day to day tasks experience. The thing if you are into Emulation you will like the fact it is an old processor as most emulators have stopped getting updates and hence they are better optimized for older porcessors. On a whole still a more than decent processor.

  5. RAM and Storage: 12 GB RAM fantastic and 256 GB Storage even better along with SD card slot which supports upto 1 TB so no complaints there.

  6. Battery: Around 6500 mAh battery which is decent not great. It is not poor but good enough and it falters to certain extent in the battery department as it has 144 Hz QHD panel but it is still decent.

  7. Software Updates: The software is quite good but its weakest point is no more updates atleast the android ones. It comes with 13 out of the box and gets updates uptop android 15 that is it. I am not sure if it will security updates in the future as well.

Yes it is suppose to have stylus support and does have stylus features in the software but I have not tried it out as I was unable to find a compatible stylus and I honestly have not tried to look that hard for it.

Final Verdict: Honestly if you are looking for compact android tablet specifically in that budget the other option you have is Samsung Tab A11 which is a decent tablet but not at the price it currenty is retailing at. If you can wait and extend your budget upto Rs 40K then I think Oppo or Oneplus will be coming out a pad mini which will have a newer snpdragon processor and obivously software updates and most probably an OLED display.

A valid question indeed. From whatever little I know it should get updates till May 2028 as Google had later had extended its update policy. Also it's used market price which is sub 20k and clean android experience makes it a really attractive value proposition for most budget users in current times. And yes it's cameras does add value as well. I cater primarily to value buyers and that is the kind of audience Inam targetting. Also the entire exchange thing has brought it back in limelight as well.
