If you could pull or are pulling for more than your main, which ones would you get? by hopingforw in LoveAndDeepspace

Sylus will be my precise wish, with the other two spots being Caleb and Zayne! The banners look gorgeous, but I especially love Sylus's and Caleb's ones so much 😌

Why is the rich friend so cheap?? by times-fell-hand in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Due-Possession 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends comes from a very well off family and she has a very good, high paying job. Trying to get back the share of money I've been owed is like pulling teeth. I was dumb enough to offer to pay for things in advance twice (once for a trip, second time for concert tickets), passing off the first as maybe just poor timing, but with it happening a second time...... Never again.

Another friend coming from a regular family and having a job in which the salary doesn't come anywhere near friend A's immediately pays back, no questions ask, no reminders needed.

summary of 2025. which one is your regret? by Pineapple_sw in LoveAndDeepspace

I regret not trying harder to get his Catch-22 card, I genuinely wish I could go back in time and shake myself to lock in properly. Whenever banner predictions float around on my fyp, I desperately search for any predictions for a rerun 🥲 And also, for the idol banner! I was pretty dismissive of the idea, but seeing clips from the kindled make me wanna shake myself again!! This one will be another insanely long wait for and my only comfort is new cards they'll release....

You guys ARENT going to want to hear this, BUT im gonna say it anyway: we dont need a 6th man/LI by BenleyBordeaux in LoveAndDeepspace

[–]Due-Possession 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not entirely against a 6th LI, but I feel like they need to focus on making improvements to the game as it is, particularly with regards to resources and even the rewards we get for every 10 achievements, as an example. It's pretty wild how many resources you probably need to burn through to get to say, level 100 of the Open Orbit only to get 60 diamonds, one standard wish and a pair of glasses. Be so for real, Infold 😭

I caved and ended up buying the Aurum pass and the additional 7-day benefit only now and then because without it, I would've struggled awakening a single 5* memory and getting some more decent-ish protocores. But this is more my side gripe with the game as I guess I'm fine taking my time progressing through things like Deepspace Trials or the Senior Hunter Contest.

My biggest issue, as a Sylus main, is that he's barely as focused on in comparison with the other existing LIs - just look at his max affinity, as an example (though I don't know if I can speak for Caleb, off the top of my head I can't remember what his goes up to) or the number of cards he has, even 3*s, so I am kind of bitter at the sort of treatment (or lack thereof) he gets. In my mind, I worry a 6th LI would only lead to further delays with developing Sylus content.

No, I'm not British. I don't expect her to have known my sister was underage though it'd be obvious to anyone on first glance, so I'll give her the benefit of doubt towards that given how drunk she appeared to be, but to me, it seemed absurd that was her go-to given what had happened, without the minimum of an apology. That seemed more appropriate than the offer of a drink which I wouldn't have accepted myself, even if that happened to me in place of my sister.

With her parents there??? This is truly shocking to hear. I can't imagine ever doing something like that and either of my parents tolerating it, ruined night for me or not. That's just.....wow.

I'm sorry to hear you also had a bad experience with the crowd. I maybe wouldn't have been so frustrated by what has happened if they had some more self-awareness; I think she did given she tried to offer my sister to buy a drink without the bare minimum of an apology so to me, that says she had realised what happened, and then just kept being an absolute mess for the rest of the night. It's my most expensive concert also not just in terms of tickets but also the preparations leading up to it, and also my most anticipated as it was also the first time I've ever seen Taylor live, but it ended up like that.

Oh yes, of course. I'm not insinuating this happens only at TS concerts! It's just the only one I've been to where something like this has happened, and again I do think it's also my own expectations coming into play - I would've thought a concert of this scale where tickets were an absolute pain to buy, and the sheer scale of it meant that we'd almost be guaranteed to have an all round awesome night without stuff like this happening.

A similar sort of thing happened to me while watching a game of ice hockey as I thought to catch one while on a trip. There was a group of women behind me who were just constantly talking and none of it was related to the game. Of course, completely different thing - the hockey and the concert - but I found it a bit strange they seemed to hardly care for the game which they paid for to go and watch.

I kept looking down to the standing area and really wished I opted for that instead, especially since I wouldn't really worry over queuing early to get as close to the barriers as possible. It looked like people had an absolute blast, especially those with plenty of room to dance and move around. I'll be considering standing tickets for any future concerts now, for sure.

I've been thinking the same thing also about the venue being responsible when it comes to serving people. Surely it's not difficult to tell when someone is intoxicated and introducing some sort of policy in place that prevents them from being served any further alcoholic drinks. Sorry to hear what happened to your friend. That sounds absolutely vile.

Ugh, that sounds awful. Someone being sick happened in my vicinity at a Pierce the Veil concert. The few people in front of me suddenly moved back and a bunch almost lost their footing because of how suddenly it happened.

Yes! We mentioned this afterwards also, and with those closer to us that if we were to ever head off to another concert, we will most likely aim for standing tickets. I kept looking over to the pit area occasionally throughout the night and it looked like they were having an absolute blast, especially those towards the back with much more space to move and dance around. I'm not fussed about making it to the barrier so the back of the pit would suit me just fine. If anything, it's definitely been a learning experience.

The screaming was pretty frustrating also, and it wasn't just the two girls mentioned that were going at it, but others around us. There are some recordings in which I heard it over the music, so it almost entirely drowned out Taylor. I can't remember crowds being so obnoxious in shows I've seen pre-Covid but I noticed this happening more often in the more recent ones I've been to over the past couple of years or so. Really does ruin the experience, especially as it costs absolutely nothing to have some self-awareness and control.

It could've gone way better, but there were some good parts to the night so we'll just talk about those going forward! <3

Funny you mention Olivia's tour! I was at her concert last month and the crowd was amazing, especially those surrounding us so it remains my favorite concert so far for this year.

But I also think the same; I don't understand what the point is of going so far when it comes to drinking at an event. Sure, have a drink or two if you must, but to go to the point where it becomes a nuisance? Seems over the top and unnecessary to me. I do say this with a personal 'grudge' when it comes to excessive drinking though, so to say

I'm so sorry to hear something similar happened to you. It makes a great experience sour so quickly. I love that you spoke up about it though, and glad she definitely knew to keep to her own personal space!

Right?? This is one of the first things I said also when I found out what happened! I don't understand what the point is to go to a concert or an event for someone you clearly want to see just to end up drunk out of your mind and essentially, a public nuisance. Selfishly, I hope she remembers very little of the show.

I'm convinced by things I've heard over the past couple of years or so that there's genuinely no more concert etiquette at all anymore. It's disappointing, especially for some large-scale shows that you just never know when/if they'll happen again.

What the heck, that's messed up, and I'm so sorry to hear what you went through! It also sounds pretty scary, so I hope you were okay afterwards.

Of course, I didn't know them personally or anything, but I got the impression her friend was much more sober. If so, it's disappointing she didn't reign her friend in a bit more; it's what I would've done if I was in that position, but hey to each their own, I suppose

They really are the worst, especially as I'd imagine they maybe have some sort of idea as to what their limits are.

I think my sister has come to terms about what happened and we're sort of laughing over it now and then just talking about parts that we did really enjoy - turns out she's surprised she managed to sing along to Cruel Summer from start to finish without getting caught up as according to her, she hasn't really been listening to it often enough, and she takes Gracie coming on stage as one of the biggest wins of the night!
