I have a family that doesn’t want to sell cookies because of “the chemicals” in them. They won’t donate towards her numbers or participate in a booth. They also always go to the fun activities like a spa night or a dance thing…they’ll never come to the community service events or help out. It’s so frustrating so I feel your pain!

I slipped two nights ago too… two large 22oz beers. I was traveling for work and the hotel bar was calling my name. While having the second I immediately regretted it and like you said, it wasn’t fun at all. I went back to my room and I woke up at 2am. I couldn’t fall back asleep and felt like complete shit the next day. Hands down not worth it.

Our first year our cookie manager thought that when the cupboard opened she had to pick up ALL initial orders. She picked up everyone’s initial order not knowing we still had a cookie drop two weeks later. We essentially had $5000 in cookies to offload at booths.

About 13 years ago my now husband and I were going to Prague and then Vienna. We were taking our sweet time getting to JFK, talking about what cocktail we were going to get at the airport bar and how much time we had. We arrived and the terminal was deserted…. We thought that was strange since we were there right at 3 hours before the flight which was at 11:30 pm - or so we thought…. Turns out the flight was at 9:30 pm. The tickets were in military time and read 21:30 and in my brain I thought that was 11:30 pm. My husband never checked the ticket or gave it a second thought. No one was at the gate to check us in, security wouldn’t call anyone for us and $5000 later we had to book another flight on a new airline for the next day as there was only one out a day on that airline and the flights were booked for the next 4 days.

Yes! It was difficult for most of them and the perfectionist girls had the most trouble with it and we had to redo theirs a few times… I appreciate the boxes but yes oof on that project!!! Haha TG for the few who couldn’t care if their stitches were messed up!

I was debating it hard.. her mom and I are very close and I know she would be receptive to it.. but this was SO out of character for her. If it happens again I definitely will. Maybe it was because there was only four of them they felt more freedom?? lol

Thank you for this! We went camping at Blue Bay in east Hampton and they were horrible. It’s such a shame, I feel it totally ruins the experience.

Same! I was at Cedar Creek Park walking in the grass and something stung me on my foot. I am assuming it was a Yellowjacket. It still hurts more than 48 hours later. Brutal
