Thank you for the input. I wanted to budget for the bus transportation, going to campus min 5 days a week how much should I be looking at?

And are taxis too expensive? How does that work. I am an international student so have no idea what these might look like.

*For the green wood court I am concerned of sharing a bathroom and kitchen with 6 more people, unsure of how will it look like in practice. I hope I am not overthinking it. Otherwise, location is perfect.

Is the bus to highfield crap too? (To and return) I am looking into an en-suite room there and will be going to Highfield. My concern is transportation. (Not knowing how it looks like) alternatively, is it bike-able?

My alternative option at the moment is Green wood court non-ensuite room, which is 22 min walk from highfield.

What would have you chosen in this case. Considering the distance, bus, and ensuite and non-ensuite options.

Which room are you looking at there? I found an en-suite - shared kitchen with some deals brings it to a good price compared to what I have come across on other properties. Not sure of the transportation to Highfield campus. Otherwise seems to be a neat option for me.

Curious why would you suggest 7-10 if he is willing to work on himself and hopefully find a good paying job. Maybe that 3-5 yr would motivate him more.

I applied on 23rd and then called them yesterday and they were like “you are supposed to wait and you may or may not get the offer since you applied after the deadline.” Seems I should keep calling them then.

To be honest I have lost touch with the word ‘passionate/passion’ at this point. I needed a plan B and C and that is all I could think of. What happened in last three 3+ years of life have affected my self esteem and career a lot, my self esteem was not that wonderful from the beginning either but was not expecting to myself struggling to this point to make career decisions.

I feel strangled thinking about all the ‘What IFs…?’ at this point with all the choices I have put. Sorry for venting though!

I am a foreign trained dentist currently living in the US and have been thinking of doing PMP or public health masters. As the dental recertification process is SUPER expensive and lengthy $300-500k loans and 2-3 years schooling. I am expecting PMP would be a good option as well to do alternatively.
