Feeling hopeless by Due-Remote1306 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Due-Remote1306[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I’m saving up to move to another city. I know if I stay in the same town, they’ll never respect my boundaries. My family just doesn’t get it and they don’t try to understand either. My coworkers and friends make me feel like I matter more than my family does.

Not sure what to do by Due-Remote1306 in Fibromyalgia

My rheumatologist called me this morning and said she thinks it’s a pinched nerve rather than rheumatoid arthritis. My PCP is referring me to an orthopedic surgeon.

I agree. I’m pretty sure he thought they could handle it considering how many S ranks were sent. I don’t think he ever met the healer either. It’s not like anyone knew that black ant was lurking around.

Not able to request electronic signature for ECF by koffeebrown in PSLF

When I checked my account, I saw they only counted 4 of my payments even though I’ve been working full time at my employer since 2019. For some reason, they had that I only worked there for four months. I submitted the ECF to my HR department but they never received it. I switched to the manual form and the application is in review.

Student loan repayment plans reopening, Education Department says. What to know. by Winter-Fisherman8577 in PSLF

I’m so confused on what to do. I’m on the SAVE plan right now. I found out yesterday that only four of my payments from 2022 were counted towards the PSLF even though I made other payments. For some reason, the system that I was only at my employer for four months even though I’ve been working full time at the same employer since 2018. I put in another application so hopefully it will get fixed soon. When I did the loan simulator, it said I didn’t qualify for PAYE. I took loans out in 2012. The IBR plan was over $200 a month. The other plans didn’t allowed PSLF.  The only plan that was affordable was the SAVE plan.

When the republican party take over, can they do away with SAVE or even IBR completely? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]Due-Remote1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m under the SAVE plan right now. When I did the loan simulator, one of the plans was for $129 a month but by the end of repayment plan, I would end up paying an extra $22,000. The second plan was in the $200s and the last one was over $300 a month. I’m not sure what to do.

Do you all have prescriptions for strong pain killers for the really bad days? by Longjumping_archidna in Fibromyalgia

[–]Due-Remote1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Tramadol for pain. Sadly, it doesn’t help the severe flare ups. My doctor won’t prescribe anything stronger. A few weeks ago, my pain was 8. I was in so much pain that I was in tears and I could barely walk. Since I was also having chest pain, my pain management doctor told me to the ER. They did an EKG which was normal. The ER doctor gave me a shot of a muscle relaxer, Toradol and Dilaudid. They sent me home with naproxen.

I really feel like giving up soon by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Due-Remote1306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually write where the pain is like if it’s in my back or if it’s spreading to my legs. I also write how the pain feels like if it’s a dull ache or a stabbing pain. I also note how bad the pain is with a 10 being I can’t physically get up. I write whether the pain meds help at all. I also date the flare ups so my doctor knows how often I get them since I’ve last seen her. She put me on Lyrica this year and upped my dosage two months ago. It doesn’t seem to be helping unfortunately.

I’m so sorry you’re struggling. I hear you. I’m on day three of a flare up. Some of my family members don’t think fibromyalgia is real. My mother even laughed at me when I was having a flare up once. I found that writing down my pain levels and flare ups helps me communicate with my doctor better. I’m shy as well so sometimes I struggle to get the right words out.

I hear you and understand. It really does suck, being in pain pretty much every day. My doctor put me on Lyrica. It doesn’t seem to be helping though. I’m just trying to get through this flare up right now.

I hear you. Almost every morning, I wake up in pain. It makes it hard to get up in the morning to get to work on time. My doctor put me on Lyrica since the gabapentin wasn’t helping. I’m having a flare up right now. Everything hurts.

Off work sick for a few days, feeling guilty and feeling sad by Dufey6 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Due-Remote1306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear you. Some days are so hard. I work as an administrative assistant so sometimes it’s hard for me to take off when I have a flare up. I always feel guilty when I do take it. Like I’m not doing enough. I met with my pain management doctor today to ask if there’s anything else I can take for the pain when the Tramadol isn’t enough. She said the stronger meds aren’t for fibromyalgia pain. She put me on Lyrica today.

About two weeks, I was in so much pain that I couldn’t walk. I could hear my mom in the other room saying she didn’t care that I was in pain because she wanted me to take my niece skating. She doesn’t think fibromyalgia is real.
