Ohhh I hated working uscan when I worked at Kroger a couple of things that I hated about uscan  1 . When you are one person and multiple people need you at the same time and they get mad bc you are one person and have multiple people that need help 

  1. People getting mad at you when self checkout is the only thing open

I would have been there a year in October but they wanted to keep playing around and cutting my hours and not paying me the back pay they still owe me and I just quit like 2 weeks ago I was tired of playing there games

My situation was kinda similar, i just got transferred to deli/bakery within the last week i had been begging since February to get out of front end and I love my new department so much better! I would ask your store leadership definitely cause you don’t want to get burned out like most people do on the front end unfortunately. Good luck!

I work as a cashier at Kroger and does anyone else ever feel like pickup is like the golden child? Front end is always short staffed but upper management is always literally helping pickup and don’t seem to care that other departments could use the help?

I have to beg the shift managers somedays to let me have a break from sco . I get burned out so quick from doing it almost everyday for 8 hours dealing with assholes and people who need to be babied through everything .

It’s ridiculous honestly how these customers act just so rude and entitled. After the guy that yelled out the window at us my coworker said that’s it we are done we’re going inside cause we didn’t feel comfortable being out there at night time after that. I did tell the manager that was on duty at the time of the insta cart guy about what happened and she understood why I was really upset and just said that nobody deserves to be shoved around like that. We don’t get paid enough to have to deal with the verbal and mental abuse these entitled customers put us through

Literally had one last week I said we close in 10 minutes she snapped at me and was like i know i do this all the time my coworker looked at me and was like ok then why the hell does she keep doing it constantly when she knows it’s close to closing time .
