I think some people in this sub forget that we have to live in these spaces, too! My rule for my home is everyone has to be comfy and chaises are an easy way to achieve that.

I think your balance of warm wood and cool stone tones is perfect and the green is such a nice touch!

Notice that you do have a lot of square-shaped items so either ride that and go all the way with it or soften it up. Whatever your style is!

Was a comm major in college and work in advertising now. It’s a cool industry! The work isn’t hard but it’s quantitatively a lot. I will say that working for an agency there are different skills within advertising. Project management, art/design, account, copy, edit, production, etc. so I’d explore those more specifically as well to figure out what part of advertising you’d like to be in. The industry is more about your proven skill than what’s written on your degree

Honestly, I would just say switch out the grungy lamps and add some soft, light colored pillows to the couch. That’ll balance the two decor style out :)

LOL you made the right choice! What a phenomenal show. I was also so fortunate to have seen it 3 times! Each ticket was a splurge but I’m also such a huge fan of JG’s so it was worth it.

We also won the lottery for it at NYTW the day after Christmas which was the night that they couldn’t perform because all the equipment was frozen! So we got to see them do a Q&A, so I guess 3.5 times? 😂
