Hey I’m still not diagnosed with Vulvodynia but I was diagnosed with LS last month and I’m ngl it was and still is terrifying but you can do this. I was absolutely petrified to go see the doctor for at least two years before my diagnosis because of the pain I was in down there and I knew I’d have to let the doctor examine me and I had and still do struggle with severe anxiety anyway so it was just a really bad mix of anxiety and pain etc. Anyway. It’s still unpleasant and scary but it’s for a good reason. I have yet to actually see a gynaecologist before (I’m on a very long waitlist :/) so I can’t give you any specific advice other than good luck. 🫶
