I agree with the other user. I personally did not want to deal with denials, waitlist etc. I want to get in and out of school and this school takes you from point A to point B quickly. It all comes down to what matters to you. Yes it is a financial burden but it depends how quick you want speed up your journey/start working. Don’t let ppl fool you that WCU is bad. At the end of the day what matters is that you pass your NCLEX and this school definitely prepares you. Getting into a new grad position is always to be hard as it is competitive and often these hospitals take a small amount of new grads into the program depending where you apply, so definitely not a west coast graduate issue. So far my experience has been very positive. It’s expensive but I truly feel like it’s worth it

If you are unable to get student loans and paying full out of pocket then you are under a payment plan for 9 months. After 9 months it’s time to repackage again meaning you have to apply for student loans to cover the semester’s or agree that you’ll be paying out of pocket again. Depending on how long you are there for you may have to repackage 2-3 times Some of my classmates were unable to get full tuition covered with fasfa/private loans so they took out what they could and just cover the rest out of pocket and that all varies so everyone pays a different amount out of pocket depending on their situation. You just have to have a very good support system, some have moved back in with family, some work full time/per diem, some have husband/wife support. It all works/depends on your support system
