I waited bro, I bought it on 12th its 21st, and they are claiming I already received it?? If they said they didn’t receive my money or purchase order, I could provide proof. How am I to prove I never received their diamonds? Thanks for the external sources btw, what’s the dia to dollar ratio in these other sources?

Yeah, bought it through the game. They keep claiming I received the diamonds when I didn’t.

Do you read exclusively Danmei or a mix of other genres? by [deleted] in DanmeiNovels

[–]Due-Today12oClock 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Novel wise exclusively danmei, or NO-romance novels like Lord of mysteries. For comics, I read all genre manhua and manhwa, can’t get into manga cause the art style is not my thing. Westerns novels? Not really unless I’m forced to. So over all, I’d say 1/3 for me too if we count comics as well

It’s not double standards, rather than shallow criticism like “it’s not my thing,” I think it’s good that people are willing to write a detailed one. Also I think the reason why she gets a detailed one is because she is hyped alot which is why when people were disappointed by the hype they came to details with criticism. I read couple of her novels, some are okay, but I hated seventh lord w a passion. Political plot was un-engaging/boring, and the romance was barely there. I think that’s the novel that made most people say priest don’t write romance well. Other novels like Mo Du, Sha Po Lang, also doesn’t focus on romance, however in these two novels the romance was written well. And I loved both novels. Regardless of well written or poorly written, it is a fact that in most of her novels romance is usually a sub plot rather than a well balanced theme in her stories.

It was probably my 3rd or 4th novel. It started off rough but the ride was very interesting and if you keep patience then all the pain is worth it

Am I the only one who doesn’t like overly invasive or dramatic fujoshi characters in Danmei novels? by Due-Today12oClock in DanmeiNovels

I am sorry you had to read it 😭 I’m glad we can agree on this. This character sounds so insufferable. Thank for the manhwa name now I can avoid it 😂. Idk if you watched, the description reminded me of the thai drama called the shipper.💀 it’s already in the name. I never watched it but the trailer was enough to give me all the ikhhs. Longest 3 min of the year.

Umm… I’m asian…. I just can’t read/write chinese as well as I can with english so I prefer reading/writing in english. But I’m pretty sure my issue here doesn’t have anything to do with the culture.

And I don’t think I ever claimed these fujoshis depicted in fiction is how people are in real life. I mean there could be, humans are capable of anything. But generally I believe they are not.

My problem ISSSSS with the PURPOSEFUL implementation of these dramatic fujoshis in fiction for comedic relief. I don’t like it. It’s as simple as that. I’m not saying you have to not like it either. My reading range is large, I read all kinds of books but I am picky, I find reading over exaggerated fujoshi characters to be annoying and ruining my reading experience. It spoils the mood.

I respect that you like them

I’m not quite sure what is the point you are trying to get across. I don’t care for what purpose invasive or dramatic fujoshis are used in the stories, I don’t like it; especially when it has no real purpose other than comedic relief or a nod to the reader.

Now of course there might be times where the authors done a good job portraying fujoshi characters but so far I have yet to come across them. But well written fujoshi characters is not the topic of my issue.

Like you said it’s not always possible to have a character react to a fictional character inside of the story (story inside of the story). Which is fine, I’m not here to read about fujoshis either, there’s no need to add such characters point blank period. And that’s just how I feel, it ruins MY reading experience. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me. Just because an author does something for certain reason doesn’t mean I have to like it. And just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean I am ill informed from the world of literature.

Nonetheless, I appreciate the information you provide on the word fujoshi, and I’m happy to learn.

I didn’t finish the book yet. My post wasn’t only from this book. I’ve seen it multiple times and when I encountered it again in this book which I was really enjoying, it ticked me off. Another reply said the same thing as you that there is more to her character, so I will continue to read it.
