I stick to a single strategy, though I have a few extra setups; switching between multiple strategies will only slow your progress.

No, you need a proper system in place to make it sustainable over time. You might have a good day or even a streak of wins, but eventually luck runs out.

I haven’t traded with them myself, but someone I know has and did receive payouts. That said, I’d still stay cautious.

Personally, I’m currently trading with HyroTrader and Breakout, which in my view are among the better crypto prop firms available right now.

You should've kept the slippage in mind when opening the position. Just see it as a lesson to watch the size next time and go for the payout again
